  2. Townsend continuing to impress for Rangers. Looks skilful, lively and dangerous every time he gets the ball.

Can't believe QPR blew that right at the death. Still a pretty impressive result given that they played for most of the game with 10 men, though.
Might have left themselves with too much to do now, but they're making a real go of it.
It would have been interesting to see how they'd have done with Redknapp at the helm from the off.

    Charlton fan in peace.

Just a note to say Obika really looked the part for us yesterday , pacy and a real goal threat he took his goal well

Is he likely to feature for you in the near future or is it possible we might be able to sign him again next season?

We seem to like your academy players because Dervite,Jackson,Gower and Button were all in our match day squad yesterday.

Obika has done well for our under-21 side this season (15 goals in 15 games), but he isn't going to make it with us. No disrespect to Charlton, but even on a good day, he is only Championship level at best.

Good to see Dervite do well for you. I saw him when he first came to us and he was clearly a real talent, but had his leg savagely attacked at Norwich. I was at that game and it's a miracle he's still walking never mind still playing at a decent standard.

Johnnie Jackson has done well for himself. He has a sweet left foot and was mucked about at Spurs, if he'd been given a chance in his proper position then he just might have made it in the PL, but that's the way it goes so often.

Thanks I wondered whether Obika's new contract was really just a way of Spurs ensuring they get a fee for him, last year I understand Button signed on only to join us at the end of the window for a fee which could rise to £500,000 if we get promoted.Button has been unlucky in my opinion. He conceded a couple of soft goals against Millwall which has allowed Ben Hamer back into the side and Hamer has played superbly in the last two games.

Dervite is now having a run of games at centre back,he only earned a one year contract because of the injury problems that you alluded to.I think he has done enough to remain with us next year.

JJ is a Charlton legend now,it's a shame that we never picked him up when you realised him when we were still in the Prem although maybe he does not have the pace for the top flight now.Did you know that he is an Arsenal fan?

I guess Gower's time with you would be too far back for an opinion.

Do you think Dean Parrett might be realised in the summer I noticed he has just gone out to Swindon.I liked him when he played for us two years ago,I am also curious as to why John Bostock has never made it.Would he be worth gambling on?

It seems Heurelho Gomes broke his hand playing for Hoffenheim at the weekend.

Shame as he was doing well there too. With him in goal they'd conceded 10 in 9 games with 3 cleansheets compared to 42 in the previous 19 with 3 cleansheets also.

They'll probably end up going dow now and they won't be able to afford to keep him longterm.

Apparantly it is being said that Andros Townsend successfully dribbled past an opponent 14 times in the QPR v Wigan game on Sunday. This is reckoned to be the most ever recorded by Opta in a PL game.

That's an incredible statistic. Apparently he attempted 17 'take ons' and was successful with 14 of them.

    http://epl.squawka.com/queens-park-...-2013/english-barclays-premier-league/matches

If you click on the third dot underneath the stats part on the right, then it brings up individual ratings.
Click on Townsend and it brings up all of his stats. Made a few tackles and two interceptions, got fouled a couple of times, didn't give any away and got a few crosses off.
He's definitely making the most of this loan.

Luongo, Parrett and Byrne all start for Swindon tonight. Adam Smith on the bench (again) for Millwall.

I'll bet there were some theatrics when that happened! I can understand its very painful, but you know he's like!

Very disappointing to see Swindon have cut short Dean Parrett's loan deal and he returns to us after only 3 games with them.

Any chance it was us ending it because we are so light on playing staff?

    "Breach of Swindon's club discipline."

Crossing the Ts and dotting the Is. Or something more serious ??

Harry Kane on the bench for Leicester tonight. Leicester were 1-0 ahead but Birmingham have equalised on 60 minutes. Would be good time to bring Kane on.

Schlupp's put clear through on goal and fails to pull the trigger, allowing Robinson to get back and put a tackle in. The commentators suggest a sharper striker would've buried it earlier...

Kane gets three minutes with the score at 2-1 to Leicester. Not working out for him, so far.
