Apologies for putting up a short priced selection but sometimes even a short priced one can be huge value and I will be amazed if this selection goes off odds against and I expect it to win without any trouble whatsoever. I know the price is not going to excite anyone but I really feel it will be an easy doubling of money, very confident.
Lingfield
3.35 Purcel 5-4

This will do for me Blue... first bet this week....

I am going to Back Global Flyer- 10/1 or so in the 4 35 Wetherby-- ran well last time on soft , over the course-- where he has won easily before.......on good ground-- hope its today.

A mention must go to Nez Rouge in the 5 00 Chepstow--- bottom weight lightly raced nag from the Twisters yard-- the boy back on , at 33/1 got to be worth an e/w-- he has had a 25% win ratio in his life of racing--three races ago he had Battle Group and a pulled up Auroras Encore well behind, when finishing third in alisted race-- granted he has faded a bit since then, but if there is ability still lurking he could go very well in this---

Shergars shoo in today is DON POOLEONI in the 4.25 Chepstow @ 2/1. Harry Fry is in good form at the moment, with 3 of his last 9 runners winning and Don Pooleoni was well in command when falling 2 out LTO on only his 2nd run over fences. He's only gone up 5 pounds since, and is open to further improvement. He looks to me like he's along way clear of the handicapper, and is going to be capable of winning at a higher level than this:biggrin:

A few of mine out tomorrow ROTO, Shammick Boy, Barton Gift and BEN CEE PEE M 8-1 4.00 Wetherby and I have only looked at three races thus far.
Get on BEN early fellas as Sherwood obviously means business, its a winner without a penalty and I cant see the 8's lasting very long!

No chance Stick, my Weasle connections have informed me your selectiosn will not win

I'm sure Stick is over the moon with your opinion that it won't win, he's probably topping up his bet as we speak

17:00 Chepstow - Bravo Bravo

(Going against the forum experts here, but nevermind. This CD winner has a decent chance in this).

Best available now is 11/8 due to R4.

Treble for me of
1. 8 Regal Silk (17:20 Lingfield - Win Market)
2. 3 Purcell (15:35 Lingfield - Win Market)
3. 1 Don Pooleoni (16:25 Chepstow - Win Market)

Returns 11/2.

Also got Shammick Boy and Ben Cee pee at good prices last night. Will see if anything else takes my fancy during the day.

My own pick is Copperwood at 3.00 lingfield 9/2. Ive backed him last 2 out and has been very close so he owes me! Steps back up to a mile and with Fanning aboard maybe the connections believe this is finally the chance to win this one. Although the odds suggest this is a competitive race I really dont see the class so hopefully this one obliges.

A couple for me today:

Chepstow 2.40 GARRYLEIGH 9/4

Wolverhampton 8.30 AL GHARRAFA 9/1

Bets Of Luck To All

Franklin Roosevelt, 4.35 Wetherby. Hopefully there's more to come over fences for this hat trick seeker from the Pipe yard. FDR steered his nation out of the great depression and through WWII, and I'm hoping his namesake can stimulate my local economy and reward a confident investment.

Pipe has travelled a long way with this one archers so hopefully both pipe and yourself will have a profitable day mate ;)

Hold Court or Western Warhorse in the 2.10? Going for a reverse forecast. Hold court form reads well, 3rd behind the new one in january and 2 wins this season at ludlow this season. Maybe slightly overpriced at 2.8 on the exchange?

Afternoon guys

Quote from balding on purcell for the backers

Lingfield Park 15.35 Purcell
I was very happy with Purcell's last run where he narrowly got beat. He's come on for that and I really can't see him getting beat today unless he has incredibly bad luck. Big chance.

First of all, just forget what I said on yesterdays thread. Most unlike me. :o
On to today then.

Chep 5.00 Araldur

But why? I can't just say my method selected it (even though it did), so I've tried to come up with a few items of interest that may be relevant to it's chances.
It's won three times on good, twice on good/soft and twice on soft. Today's going should be ideal.
The last time it carried 11-12 was about 18 months ago. It was in a listed h/cap when OR was 145 and it came second to Fistral Beach.
LTO it was 2nd carrying 11-11 to Top Of The Range (now rated 138). The mistake that Araldur made at the 5th prob caused it to run out of puff when chasing the winner from two out.
Today's jockey has riden him four times. Won twice, 2nd once, 6th once.
That's it folks! :)
