Whelan suggests all PL games do a minutes silence for Maggie on the weekend of Newcastle vs Sunderland.

It's a bad idea and I hope it doesn't happen. Leave football and politics apart.

Yep I said that earlier. It will all end badly if a minutes "silence" is held at games. They sure as hell won't be silent, particularly up north.

The thing is though, lots of temps at the company I'm working for have gone on to get permanent positions, seriously there's loads. But I can't even get to a second interview stage. It makes me feel like I'm a total failure.

Have you asked what they think you need to improve on? Ask in a positive manner that shows you are seeking to improve. Could be useful...tell them you would like feedback.

Oh they sent feedback. Basically the main criticisms is that a lot of my answers were based on my most recent role, but there were two reasons for that: 1) What I'm currently doing was very relevant to the position 2) Before the interview, they gave me a sheet which is the interviewer's copy (kinda gives hints as to what they're looking for) and it said how recent an answer is, is taken into account. Additionally, it was very much a role in which involved liaising with people and so on, so apparently I emphasised my ability to build good working relationships with my colleagues too much, and didn't spend enough time talking about communicating with colleagues (even though I specifically remember doing so, and not just in relation to my current role) and being reliable (though even if I didn't say I was reliable, and I'm pretty sure my colleagues may have said that as it was due to comments from my colleagues that I was encouraged to apply for the role in the first place).

If they do that there's no going back. Have they said where they're aiming it at?

No idea. They're warning foreigners to get out of Seoul. If they were to attack Seoul they could do some damage but then get royally ****ed afterwards. Also Seoul has enough bunkers to accommodate all of its population and then some. There's also a very good chance that American/South Korean/Japanese missile defenses would destroy a missile before it reaches its target.

Borussia Dortmund 0-1 Malaga. Which ****ing idiot at ITV decided to show the Real Madrid game rather than Dortmund v Malaga? I want to punch him in the face for being a complete twat.

Whilst waiting for the end of the world, you might like to pop over to the reviews section of Amazon for the Hutzler banana slicer. It's surreal and very funny.
