Just for the sake of it, which game is gonna clinch it, because it will be clinched and clutched! Barnsley Nottingham Forest Charlton Burnley Bolton Hull Fug, the poll never came out!
Hull Nah, it would be good to have the last game as a Title decider, but a Promotion Party with no quarrels or hard feelings between the two sets of fans, endless chanting about going up and a quality atmosphere wouldn't be too bad! I honestly think you'll be promoted at the Burnley game. Leaving it between us and Watford to battle it out for 2nd. I'm starting to get a nervy feeling that Watford are going to take us to the wire and we could seal promotion at the Cardiff game...
I think Charlton will be the day the mathmatics say we're going up. For that to be the case it'll be basically certain for the couple of games before that. Is what i said the last time you asked and I'm standing by it.
I think I picked Burnley last time and I still think it'll be Burnley for the title of Championship winner.
I think if we win/draw the Burnley match it should enough to secure auto after getting at least 7 points in our 3 home games.
Beat Barnsley tonight, and thats about it, i think it to much to ask of Watford to get a full 15 points, a draw against the Trees and victory of Charlton will see us there for definate, a victory against Charlton will also seal the deal as champions, this is the championship remember, will either Hull or Watford get the maximum points, it may be the case that the not so mightly Leeds will have to win at Watford to keep themselves in the championship.
^^^^^This is the way I see it too. Winning tonight is all we'll need to secure an auto spot - Watford will not get 11 more points than us from the last 5 games. The Championship title will need us to get 7 points from these next three home games. Hull will do no better than that in their next three and that should be enough to see us take the trophy before we play them up there on the last day. (he says with everything crossed)
No they're not - that means I must be delluded. ................. The slide rule mathematicians will probably produce a graph that shows different, but we're in the football real world, not bloody Einstein equations.
