Haha, sorry. I was getting the feeling it would be something that wouldn't be worth its own thread though, and this was a bit of fun at least.

I quite like the way they announce announcements even if it is along the veins of people on facebook typing in their status 'Just had breakfast. cereal was crunchy for the first 2 minutes'
Its part of the modern way of making sure that everyone (who wants to) is watching you all the time. The 'brand awareness' and stay visible kind of thing which will gain us new fans purely from always being top of the newsfeeds even when the news is about nothing at all.
