He's in the team for tomorrow.

 

They expect him to be fit, I'll take that right now. I love super kelv & he did ever so well 2nd half, but Reading are going to be lumping balls into the box tomorrow continuously, the goalie is going to be one of our key positions, & I'd prefer that SKD gets a run out somewhere less edgy!

 

Also, Boruc v Reading Fans might be quite a fun watch.

 

I agree...better he played against Chelsea rather than Reading.

Analysis going on Sky about Chelsea v Sunderland. They have used two games to demonstrate Chelsea's weaknesses...our 2 goals at Stamford Bridge and our recent victory Been pointed out that when they played us at SMS, they were limited frequently to one touch becore they were closed down or intercepted.

 

Yeah, I saw that. However, they were showing clips of Saints vs Liverpool when demonstrating how Chelsea were closed down.

They then showed a reel of Chelsea goals and referred to WH as Aston Villa.

He's as bonkers as Bruce Grobelaar, but somehow you feel safe with him in goal.

 

It's the demented, self-satisfied smile that follows just about everything Boruc does. It conveys that, yes, he has everything under control, and yes, he is wondering what sort of flavour your flesh might have.

Mauricio said yesterday that he doesn't celebrate wildly as he is always thinking of what will happen next if you don't pay attention. I remember he was repeatedly shouting at Boruc after we scored against....not sure, some random big club I was wondering what Boruc was doing...snoozing or, my suggestion at the time, crowd surfing. Good goalies always have a strangeness about them, but the most important thing is that they give the defence confidence. Not sure the defence gave him any confidence yesterday....sometimes they scared the bejeebers out of me.

 

Artur is going to stay.

MMJITK strikes again.

 

Boruc was near the goal line, MP wanted him to be on the edge of his area acting as cover as we were attacking and MP did not want a hoofball catching our very quick CBs out. It was strange that the ball was in the other teams area and MP was shouting at Boruc.

 

Much as we all like to see DTLW beaten to the punch occasionally, putting it in the off-topic thread doesn't really count I'm afraid!

 

Now it's a race to see who can make a new thread the quickest when the news becomes official.
