Kinda sounds like chuck is saying I deliberately lied because I needed to do that to get what I wanted, but I`m they guy you can trust
However, it must be stressed that no matter what Mr Whyte believes there was never any possibility of him being involved with us in the ownership of this Club. And there was most certainly never any intention to pay him anything. âYes, Mr Whyte was told what he wanted to hear but there was never any likelihood of him becoming involved again. And remember, this was even before any of us were aware that the SFA had deemed him an unfit person to return to Scottish football. Imran was saying what he had to say to keep Mr Whyte onside because we believed Rangers could be rescued from a CVA and so it was vital to get his shares. All of the parties who tried to buy the Club before us also had the same problem and theyâd have made promises in order to get those shares. âHowever, just more than £137,000 was deposited later and although way short of what he said he had, we were stunned and have tried to give it back to him. But no matter how hard we try to do that he wonât accept receipt of it. (The "Father Ted" defence) I'll bet Whyte's Lawyers will love this, especially if Whyte and Green end up in court.
I would not trust Whyte as far as I could kick him but I feel the same about Green, there's only one way to decide who's right: please log in to view this image
The jury is still out on Green as far as I (and all the Gers I know) are concerned. So, aye, let's get this fight into the courts so we can know the score. If Green shafted Whyte legally then all well and good (and the jury will still remain out on Green as far as I'm concerned). If Green colluded with Whyte in any way, and Whyte owns any part of Rangers, I'd be lookin to chase Green out of town. How that could be achieved is another matter entirely, of course.
Who is kidding who? Craig whyte has had enough CVA's rejected to know a CVA was never going to be achievable.
The statement released by Green is a bit (a lot in truth) foolish. If this does go to court Green has given Whyte's lawyers plenty of evidence that Green will say anything, (in fact he is willing to lie) to get what HE wants.
I see whit yer sayin. I am no champion of Green. Neither will I condemn him without evidence. Let's not forget Whyte's great willingness to lie (Ticketus). A war of words between these two characters in the salivating media is the last thing we need. Get it into court.
I was asked once if I wanted to make a statement when I was Rozzer. I was approached by a Sergeant who accused me of passing on gossip and wanted to know who had passed the gossip onto me. He was trying his best to intimidate me - him being a bit fat bowser and me being a lithe racing snake - and he actually asked me if I wanted to make a statement. Now bear in mind this was off the record, personal if you like, and he really had no right to be asking me anything if this was going to turn into a disciplinary matter. I near pissed myself laughing at him. Needless to say I could not resist saying "here's a statement, you are fat dick, now **** off and don't annoy me". Best statement I ever gave in my career. True story.
If Green had no intention of doing business with Whyte.....why take his 137 grand in the first place?
