Well that's the end of that then. (If only it were that simple - sometimes I detest the media!) The witch hunt that is going on about Di Canio is absolutely ridiculous. For what it's worth, my two cents is that Sunderland have made absolutely the right decision. O'neill should have been getting a lot more from the players he had, and I would also question the signings that he has/hasn't made. Like someone said, it is a roll of the dice, but I feel a necessary one from the Sunderland board
Give me a break! Only 2.4% of people in the UK are Muslim, only the most swivel-eyed could have any awareness of that figure (I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't) and genuinely fear that we're becoming a Muslim country. As for Di Canio, I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt too, but he really, really needs to stop dodging the questions.
Did you notice the word could?, anything could happen in the future. We could all be wiped off the Earth. My comment was more trying to have a slight dig at Di Canio and the way he acts.
Di Canio: "Ask Chris Powell, he can tell you everything about my character" Powell: "I don't know, you'll have to ask him..."
Great, we'll have to wait till he starts talking about himself in the third person! Lots of fun with this appointment, super.
