Vidic, RVP, Carrick, Rooney, Hernandez, Rafael, Kagawa, Nani would all on form get into this Chelsea team and they would have strong odds to go unbeaten.
Chelsea are below average compared to recent standards set under Abramovich. We have 8 quality players when we used to have 16 minimum. The standards of the league have fallen dramatically partly due to the recession and spending restrictions of all clubs. Chelsea and United are two different teams, Chelsea like to play patient build up football with intricate build up play, they are technically gifted team. United are more of a machine and far more direct yet with more versatility in their style of play, akin to Chelsea under Mourinho in many ways.
indeed tbh they may even end up worst than liverpool situation when FFP really start biting by restricting their investment on building a stronger squad.. sooner or later every artificially inflated club will be back to their normal size
