NEVER EVER thought I would say this but... IF the worst happens surely PULIS would be sacked? If not why not? and IF he was I honestly could put up with Chumpionship footie IF he was no longer able to feck our club up more than he already has. Then again, it's more likely we'll go belly up and he STAYS anyway.

That would be more worst nightmare Redandwhite! From what I have heard the player's looked resigned today at fulltime? Bad news if that's the case.

without wingers to supply crosses etc how do the powers that be think we will score. i think it cannot be rocket science.been worried all season to be truthful.i just hope we can scrape a couple of home wins.sorry to be so despondent, cannot see where the goals are going to come from.playing championship football for too long.only seem to raise their game for big teams at home.judge me after 4 yrs well say no more.

    Drew,

I've been worried for the last 3, don't think we're down as yet but the Villa game is a must win!!

It's not just wingers but a midfield. We can't score because we have no midfield. Our midfield consists of one man Nzonzi as Whelan is non existant and is more a defender. There is no proper supply to the misfiring forwards whatsoever. Next weeks game is Pulis's biggest game since he came back to Stoke and even bigger than the Wembley final. There is one part of me that hopes Villa beat us in the hope Pulis gets sacked and we can pick up the points to survive from remaining fixtures!

Can you imagine the reaction if we lose to Villa at home?

2 sides facing relegation Jowler mate that will be fighting for the win. We would have been better off with some mid table safe side to be honest!

    The delusion continues:
    Stoke manager Tony Pulis:
"You cannot blame the players. Their attitude and application has been absolutely first class.
"It is our fifth year in the Premier League, and it is our best in terms of performances away from home, we just have not got the results. It is a strange game in lots of respects but we have to keep on believing.
"It is difficult times, but it is times you get paid for. I thought we played some smashing football today, and we do not get credit at times for the football we play."

How many times do we hear the same old tripe

    Too right Smither's
The guy is a absolute idiot simple as simple is. The ONLY hope we have is as above.

No bull**** Pulis just pick our best 11 and go for it. We need to beat Villa and even then, it may not be enough. So many fans on P and G tonight have said all of the above and as much as I respect Denis Smith = legend even he thinks we played OK today? Sorry Denis OK is fine but we lost AGAIN.

    Not good enough PULIS OUT.

P.S. the wrong M.O.N. was SACKED tonight?? Pft

Playing better football than last season he says. I wonder if he actually believes his own hype and bullshit.

Tony Pulis the new Walter Mitty!

Waddo, We probably would but imo those are are best chances out of the games we have left, teams chasing points can also over commit players and not be as defensive, don't get me wrong i'm not it will be a walk in the park, just that we have it in our own hands to beat the drop, other teams may have games in hand but until they convert them to points it means nowt!!

I think we did play some footy today, imo it would have been better to start with Adam and Jones for Whelan and Crouch but not many would have had us down for a win today and if Walters chance had fallen to anyone else it would have been a goal.

    Jowler
I think Waddo is right here...

Utd? we'll no doubt have a go at them.. so WHY not have a go at Norwich and Villa? Becuase both need pts mate and I'm sure both will come for a pt. We've found it tough to beat any teams around us all season? But we hammered Liverpool. And I know it does not add up Jowler. Problem is does Clueliss... our biggest game for years is next weekend IMO.

Villa and Norwich will both see this has a winnable game as we are so bad in the form stakes at the moment!

If they come for a win we have a better chance of beating them than if they sit back and they have got to fancy there chances, the other thing is we are at the do or die stage of the season, they may just see it as too good an opportunity to pass up.
