Not safe <doh> we have been safe for ages, we won a magor trophy to boot and all we are doing now is plaing the season out by experimenting and we are having some positive feedback. our season is over and its job done and like one of your posters said so is yours and readings season are over also......Blame your manager not me, his team, his tactics his fault......lets be honest here ...Who has been the worst two teams all season? and who deserves to go down on results.....If you can answer them questions honestly then yo cant complain. get a proper manager for next season as the championship has some big teams in it and far better managers than clueless harry....

Well at least we have Reading for company down in the depths. So much for Chelsea & Norwich helping us out today.

So Harry is clueless in your opinion..... Well if that is the case you won't be singing from the rooftops or valleys for your fellow countryman who got us in this mess in the first place.....looks like we will go down but hopefully with a fight, one thing you seem to forget daistwatmate is that most of the R's on here remember when and watched the finest team in London, can you same about Swansea?. You have had three seasons where you have done a bit and for the rest of your history?.....nada.

It is not a pivotal weekend at all. It is in our hands still. We look like scoring these days. Our season will turn on whether the defence (and whichever goalie plays) do their jobs.

If we defend as poorly as we did against Villa, it ain't gonna happen for us. In the next two games there is a huge range of possible outcomes. This time next Sunday we will be either 10 points behind Wigan or only 1. All we can hope for is that we get the performances and that luck is on our side. If that happens, momentum may well see us over the line.

This time last season, Wigan escaped with a spectacular run of form in the last 10 games. What will it do them if that does not happen this season because we crush them at LR? Just think about the nagging self doubt that will knock into them. However before we can even think about that, there is a job to be done at Fulham

I really don't see the point of agonising over every other match played by every other team in the mix and I hope Harry keeps them focused on what they can do not what those teams just above us are doing.

May be. May be not. In case you had not noticed yet, football , like all sports, is about confidence and mental attitude. Why else does a team which is ****e all season suddenly come good after an unexpected win against a team they've never beaten before. A team like Wigan last season??????????? Explain that to me before you knock. Is it also in your Latics masterplan that your so-called fans should knock Martinez and call for his head each season like you lot did before you went on your miracle run?

Why so many question marks? Is it more of a question if you add more?? Does it communicate that you are genuinely and deeply puzzled by the questions you pose?????

    Can you hear me ma??????????????????

We're Wigan Athletic. We don't have a masterplan. We just enjoy our football and our eight years of giantkilling. And I'm very much looking forward to my trip to your place next weekend to see if we can continue to be - "little Wigan, taking the piss".

    :)

It's quite simple if you can read joined up writing. You said "Fantasy" in relation to a post that was neither critical of Wigan nor predictive of what would happen next week. You did notioce that little word "if?" didn't you? Which part was fantasy? What are your reasons for that opinion? Which part of the maths that I used do you disagree with? You seem to have some doubts yourself "... see if we can continue to be........." So what exactly did you disagree with? That makes 5 questions only for you to answer without going off on a childish sulk.

So, forgetting all the silly bickering, I think we have an advantage in playing after everyone else.

Harry and Co. now KNOW that realistically only a win will do and he has to pick the team to do that.

We beat Fulham at home. We have to give it our best shot away!

On the flip side, they will not be keen to be the only team we do the double over this season. Lose tomorrow and the mountain remains. Win tomorrow and the mountain becomes a hill.

There are still plenty of twists and turns in the relegation battle. There is only a gap of 4 points between 12th and the relegation zone with a number of teams starting to lose form at the crucial moment. I don't think we will go down and as I pointed out on the Southampton board, Poch has got the team playing so well I am starting to feel comfident that we will probably finish higher than our current position. However, if you look below us, there are so many possible permutations that it is to difficult to call at the moment.

I think Reading are down and as much as I rate Nigel Adkins, they have a poor squad. Wigan won't go down but if you look around them there are teams such as Newcastle, Villa and Stoke who are likely to perform poorly. I would also have to say that Sunderland are as good as relegated and i can't see them picking up many more points even under Di Cannio. in QPR's favour, you have the best squad in the relegation zone and a manager who has a record of getting teams out of the scrape. I would also have o add that you have an easy run in with the possibility of scuppering your rival's survival hopes. The table may suggest your position is hopeless but I think if QPR play to the best of their abaility and don't make stupid mistakes, they can achieve the improbable. It is a shame for you that Redknapp probably joined a month / 6-weeks too late. Had he come in earlier, you would have been clear of the drop zone and possibaly been looking forward to a more successful season in 2013/14 that a squad of your calibre would merit.

Thanks for the positivity Ian, but the ´realists´ on here know it could be a bridge too far, some of us were calling for our previous manager´s head after the first 3 home games, I had the pleasure of watching your mob destroy us at home this season and believe me it was the most depressing QPR game I have ever seen (and there have been a few!). You have done really well and the next question is can you kick on next season after your ´honeymoon?´. As for the rest....well anyone on 34 points at the moment can be dragged into the mix. But you are bang-on when you said that we kept the welsh fool far too long.
