I'd really like to hear from Spanish. Just for a bit of perspective. It can't be all good, surely. McGoldrick scoring 2, Norris looking average (at best), Leeds getting beaten, Loach making some great saves. Nah, I must have missed something. It can't be all good!
Just read this on the Leeds board: "Who is Colin?" "Colin = Warnock Because if you take the letters of the name Colin out of Neil Warnock's you're left with ****ER" That is superb!!! Unlucky COLIN!!!
Absolutely right and if Mick gets the backing come May, next season will be so much better than the PJ/Keane years we wonât know what to do with ourselves. Assuming we stay up of course. Add to defensive solidarity a bit of midfield flair and goalscoring fireworks. As for points, last week I predicted weâd need possibly another nine (having looked at the last nine seasons and considered the lunacy of the current one â Posh, Wolves and Wednesday winning again today..), so six more might do it, though if it takes more than that we have the right people in charge. Iâm still in a relegation panic, though the ambulance is a bit further from hauling me away.
I suppose in a way its good that we are still fighting for something towards the end of the season unlike the last 5 or 6 years when our season was well and truly over by Easter! We are now so hard to beat which must give the opposition a headache to start with by working out how they are going to break us down. There has been a huge transformation in the team since Mick arrived and although we keep being tagged back by the chasing pack our own form is really good and all we can do is look after ourselves and the rest will take care of itself. Millwall will be another hard game but it doesn't fill me with dread
Quite right Warky and I would have been up at Den but for staying put with lousy flu! I envy Town fans going...could be a cracker with the 2 form teams both hard to beat. Fancy a hard earned draw 1-1 and another valuable point. Happy Easter mate
some people dish it out all to readily but once they get it back can't handle it!!! Hopefully if you've div listed me it'll mean you won't try to wind me up, which is a definite plus!!
At Florist we were still the best team & looking the most likely to score when we were down to 10 men. It says everything about the change around since MM took over, I find myself not always liking what he does but more often than not he gets it right. As MM said earlier we have played better than that at least 3-4 times and come away with zip... If only he had been here at the start of the season.! http://www.twtd.co.uk/league-tables...Nov-01/todate:2013-Jun-01/type:home-and-away/
Hawky, you have forgot about the budgies starting to nip up after another wonderfully tactical performance from agent Who-ton.
Happy Easter all. Nice to see that we've had a bit of luck with Lees being silly. I read somewhere that that was the first red card for our opponents this season?! Super Mick is different from our previous managers. I don't think we will see us getting spanked as often as we did. A solid base we have, if we could splash our Summer funds on a decent striker I will have more justification for my pre-season optimism. This is yet another of the last 7 or so to write off. At least we get to laugh at Ricky van Dog's Cock next season when we stuff the trill munchers. Looks like JET needs to come in for Edwards tomorrow. McGoldrick seems to be a confidence player. I think he will be even better with someone good alongside him. Could this be Taylor? And I really hope Loach gets a chance to get back to his best. Some people seem to forget his previous brilliant form with Watford. It's nice to be confident going into an away game. I think we'll sneak it against Millwall!
Superb stuff all round. It takes the pressure off the Millwall game a bit. Still incredibly only four points off the drop zone. Bristol City look like they've had it but I think a fairly confident safety mark may be as many as 55 points this time around.
