Just been reading this old news article on the BBC website.

Please read the third comment down from Alan, Croydon, England.

How true is that statement even though it's 11 years ago. How is Pulis going to change when he 100% genuinely does not know how to? This could have been written by anyone of us on here today!!

When Pulis was at Bristol City (where I am a season ticket-holder), he brought in a load of middle-aged injury-prone journeymen and one thug. He appeared to completely ignore the youth set-up/young players.

When he arrived - he spoke of promotion. Within a few weeks, he said it would take at least six months to turn the team around. After a few more months he said it would be at least a year.

During his tenure I have never seen such dull un-entertaining dross. Although we were difficult to beat we couldn't score either (possibly to do with our formation which was 8-0-2). I remember a spate of 0-0 draws at home just before he left.

He might be cheap now - just don't give him an excuse to sue you. Stoke City fans will soon get to know of the twin mantras of Pulisism: "Haaaaaard work" and "Triffic lads".

the third comment is freaky, its as if he has been reading our board......................11 years ago ha ha

Ricc that's exactly what I thought mate!!! But how bad is that he has not changed in all that time. We would be all kidding ourselves if we thought that we were going to get anything different. This is all he knows and personally I think he has had enough now and wants to be pushed so that he can revert to type and sue Stoke City!!

So it looks like it doesn't matter what division your in or what players you have, he knows one style and sticks to it and it's not steak and chips.

And he lives in...Sandybanks.
Hmmm - one of the most expensive/exclusive addresses in the UK.

His next door neighbour is that paragon if virtue...'Arry.

I love the smell of conspiracy in the.........

Thanks Waddo,
