And yeah I do think there were times when Lampard should have been dropped at West Ham. But there are times now when I think Nolan should be dropped.

I just think managers get their favourites who become 'undroppable'. Lampard was obviously a favourite because he happened to be the managers nephew.

And I'm not saying he was **** or wasn't good enough for us. I'm just saying he continued to get picked at times when he wasn't playing well.

Is there any chance that he would have been picked anyway? Regardless of nepotism. After all, he has turned out to be consistently very good

Terry > Ferdinand

Lampard > Scholes

Enough said. United fans are braindead

I'm really not bothered to much who you put over Rio, I do rate him, but he's far from the best defender we've had over the years. Vidic for example is twice the player.

I will not have you put Lampard over Paul Scholes though, that is one of the most laughable things I've ever read on here. Scholes is a technician, and has been a master of his position for so many years, and in his prime would walk into any team in world football, including the Spanish national team. A player Xavi and Iniesta were fighting to swap shirts with, and a player Zidane says was the best player he's ever played against. Not to mention Thierry Henry saying the same as Zidane.

Lampard is 1 dimensional, and doesn't have anywhere close to the overall game that Paul Scholes had in his prime, and even though most neutrals despise us, thèy would all laugh at you if you even dared mention Lampard in the same breath as Paul Scholes

Just think on this little sum, Lampard has scored more goals for club and country and played more games than club and country. Also Lampard is an attacking midfielder whereas the twisted Ginger twat isn't. Lampard is the best English midfielder of the past decade by far. FACT<ok>

Scholes wouldn't walk into any team because he is similar to but not as good as Xavi, that's pretty much fact.

Ironic that you state Lampard is one dimensional when considering Scholes retired from England cos he couldn;t get a start in the only position he can play in.

Scholes better than Lampard at passing and.....mmm....

Lampard better than Scholes at....tackling, shooting, taking pens, taking set pieces, better in the air, better athlete, better fitness record, better leader, better discipline etc....

I'd trust Lampard to do a job in any position on the pitch. You could stick him at centre back or up front and he'd do the job well, same can not be said for Scholes. Who is the more one dimensional???

Scholes was a fantastic player in his prime, but to say that you can't mention the 2 in the same breath when Lampard is without doubt the greatest goal scoring midfielder in a generation (if not ever) just makes you look a fool.

Scholes is class, but nowhere near as effective as Lampard. Oh and p.s. how is Scholes also not 1 dimensional?

he's a bellend mate. Thinks Terry has never been a talent, thinks De Gea is the best keeper in the league and thinks Zola and Bergkamp were overrated. Ignore the ****house ****.
