Harry has made a few good signings but too little too late as that result at Villa put the final nail in the lid.Three sloppy goals given away by a combination of bad goal keeping and defending.I wont dig Cesar out for one bad game as he has been fabulous at times this season but he needs to be more assertive.Samba as big as he is can get caught napping at times and as much guts as he has Clint Hill regularly gets caught for pace. Fabio will be back at united next season but has been decent this season,Bosingwa = no comment as it's all been said.Traore is probably the most consistant defender we have although he is better going forward and gets caught sometimes.M'bia is a liability as he gets booked every other game and his tackling sometimes is beyond schoolboy as he couldn't time an egg. Granero for me has been a huge disappointment as he promised much but i blame hughes for that as he played him out wide (great ****ing tac-tics).Ji Sung Park only came here for a nice payday and was only bought as a commercial venture to sell t-shirts to fly by night Koreans who when he goes will be gone too.SWP no need to say any more on him either. Townsend and Jenas have been superb since coming in from spurs and would happiloy keep both of them.Adel pheeeew where do i start,some games he is magical to watch other games when it requires him to roll his sleeves up .....well we all know what happens.Would love to keep him in the championship but he is another asset that will be sold to balance the books. Remy now i like him he scores goals but with his get out clause he will also be sold which to me is a crying shame but the clause was put in to lure him here.Zamora can only play 45 minutes and frankly i don't see the point as he is no world beater but he is the only one who seems to be able to play the link man role,but again he won't stay around in the championship.Mackie for all his huff and puff has not one assist to his name this season and that is why Harry has benched him,all the others are much of a muchness to be honest as they are squad players not first 11. In my view were better off going down as we can rebuild and that season we got promoted was brilliant to watch at times compared to the bilge mostly over the past two seasons.Too many players were signed on previous glories instead of on form and that is where it all went wrong for me.naievety or whatever you want to call it has cost Fernandes dearly in the transfer market and as said before has had agents pull his pants down. Since i emigrated i have hid behind the sofa on most match days as the results have been all too familiar week in week out,take me back to the championship with free flowing football please and hopefully Mr Fernandes will take time to learn from the previous seasons and bring us back up with more steel in his wallet instead of reciepts for returnable goods. Sorry....I actually agree with a lot of your post. It was just the "it's all over" and "final lid in the coffin". I think that we're likely to go down now, but I'm not giving up hope yet.
The truth hurts but we are still in with a chance, the next two games really will see us fight to the end or out with a whimper...
