I'd without a doubt keep Harry, if we can that is. The transformation he's made in just a short period of time is amazing, although I guess it's not hard to improve on Mark Hughes mess of a 'team' if you could have called it that!

    MOTD.

OK, I am going to admit it. Could have very easily cried watching MOTD. Samba's header, Samba's shot and Bosingwa's free kick should have had the day won but for a sterling display from their keeper.

I've seen Cesar play better but who am I criticise the Brazil keeper?!

Certainly a mistake to let Benteke prowl in the box unmarked!!

Any consolation from today? Only a sour grapes one. If it is going to be us and Reading, I suspect Villa will be the third despite their current position.

However, no fat ladies in sight just yet.

It's not being overly critical to say that Cesar should have punched the s**t out of that cross - it was in the air for about 5 mins - and turned the other shot round the post. Devastating.

It wouldnt be the QPR way to have gone and won today, after 2 wins....its just in our 'makeup' that we self destruct when things seem to be on the up. Always has done and probably always will be. To be honest,Im sick and tired of the last 2 seasons and 85% of it has been so depressing. We can deal with the despair, but its the hope that kill us. Just ask Wolves/Blackburn,who are currently in the rele zone or just above it.I hate football again!

Absolutely. After Rob Green's performance at after coming on at Southampton, I do just wonder whether he might have done better today.

Perhaps Green would have done better - who knows? - he certainly prone to a mistake or two himself though.

They didn't show it MOTD but Villa's first goal came from Boswinga losing the ball up near their box, I think. No doubt Villa would say the same about our first goal but it's just so frustrating watching QPR give so many soft goals away.

You do know we have hit top half form since he took over. It was just that that prick Hughes left us with 3 points from about half a season.

He was at fault for all 3 goals, should have punched the 1st, got his foot to the 2nd and not gone out of his goal for the 3rd.

I think you have to look back a lot further than today to realize we left ourselves way too much to do. Not over yet but Susan Boyle is strirring!

He has been so solid. He is allowed errors obviously but today of all days?! Hope it does not turn into a betting scam investigation in 10 yrs time. Gutted, gutted, gutted but not over and out just yet.

AS you know from my other posts, I still have a little bit of hope. However, in my mind I had a win today as a sure sign we would be okay, a draw as an awful left to do but a loss as very bad news indeed. Still holding onto a bit of hope but only by a gnat's whisker.

I dont think hes fully fit, hes been so good but then so bad recently. Ive already spent next seasons ST money so dont expect anything but a win would have had me thinking its 50 50 to stay but we have about a 2% chance now.

The ups and downs of the relegation fight...love it and hate it...points to play for , that's ok but cannot stand relying on others to stay up...4 points to play...very game is a final!! COYRs

Flyer, as for your title, we can only hope it is 'au revoir' rather than goodbye! Be nice to come back and do it properly like Swans have done.

If you're looking back, losses at home cost us dearly.
Win your games at home, anything else is a bonus.

I have always believed until its mathematically impossible for us to stay up, we're in with a fighting chance.
We only stayed up on the last day of the season, and we had to rely on Stoke because we were losing, and eventually lost our last game, by which time we were safe already.
Chin up boys and girls, fulham away is gonna be tasty.

2% sorry but we still have a good chance if we were playing poorly I would agree of course ... We have goals in us and a good defence sadly we haven't seen both perform 100% yet . If we have to go to Liverpool needing three points then we will get them ... **** it played the champions last year off the park before collapsing
to the worse side on that day

Lots of football yet understanding the bitter disappointment but its gone
Now we have to play the fools on April fools day we are not down
    It is not over
    Wake up
It's only over when its over not until then

Dave, you are being admirably self controlled. I'm shocked by the lack of spine, guts and minerals on display here. More depressing than the result.

It ain't going to be easy, but its still on. See the signature.......
