It's not 'starting a fight' it's a difference of opinion and I didn't say you called him **** I said some people. I just feel some people have it in for him, which is sad given it's only his first season with us and you can see his talent.

Ok thought you were suggesting that I was on this wagon, given it was in reply to my comment.
For what it's worth I think he is quality and will be a great player for the club - although not popular just thought he was quiet today (would appear the manager agreed?)

I thought Poch took Ramirez off as Lucas came on and pushed Gerrard forward. So we brought on Davis to counter act their sub.

I haven't got it in for him either. Don't think he's performed that great especially for the price tag and I tend to agree with the above r.e. Ramirez being pretty anonymous. Said earlier that Lallana 'seemed' to be playing in the No10 role for most of the game..............and he was much better at it than Ramirez has been. Involved with the first goal though so fair enough

Just watched Football First and the Ramirez effect off the ball was as important as on it, he was dragging defenders all over the place and creating space for others, how we were not 4 up at half time I will never know, very small margins between hit and miss. The Spider goal was sublime, the others had that little bit of luck we have been missing all season, full credit to JRod, that was a splendid one - two he played with the unwitting Jones!

Watching MotD, did they make much if any comment on us as relegation-threatened after the highlights? If they did, I missed it.

Well i'm glad Poch feels different then you.

Don't think they needed to. I think the others have too much to do and I don't fancy Wigan's squad for having the depth to cope with their backlog. Still think they'll go past Villa though. For me QPR and Reading have gone now. Hopefully we'll put the nail in the coffin.

Good job you sacked Adkins when you were 3 points clear of relegation so you could push on and get... 1-7* points clear of relegation <wah>

*depending on games in hand

well done astro, I was beginning to think you wouldn't return

so, drawing breath - what do we want from tomorrow's Sunderland v Norwich game?
a) Doesn't matter, we can't affect others' results, only ours
b) Sunderland win (giving them 33 points, so Sunderland and Norwich are both only three points up on us)
c) Norwich win (so we stay above Sunderland, but Norwich are then on 36 points, so two wins away)
d) A draw (on the basis that this is bad for both teams, and by inference good for Saints)
