A Stoke fan in absolute peace That maybe so but.... QPR are scoring goals, seem up for the fight. Arry is an excellent Manager and, you have signed some brilliant players. Never say never, had you watched our pathetic performance vs West Brom today believe me we're not SAFE by a long way. One more win maybe we will be but not many of us can see where our next goal will come from in truth we were crap. Form table puts us rock bottom of the League right now. IF you can SCORE goals you always have a CHANCE mate. It ain't over yet. The only team IMO that is down already is Reading. All the best for the rest. Apart from one game of course, right now we might need a pt or 3. When we play you guys.
I disagree. We have the ability to win 5-6 matches. Today proved that's not in doubt. I'll accept it's going to be very tough, but it's not cut and dried. There is too much today that indicates hope, albeit slim.
Succinctly put Staines! Think where we were with 10 games left last year with no ability to get away points and the teams we still had to play. I had a bad feeling about today but still can't write us off. Another win will change everyone's perspective.
Exactly Matt !! Win at Fulham (Unlikely) and beat Wigan at Home (Possible) then it will be all smiles again. The mood on this board goes up and down more than a whores knickers, we can't do anything about the performances so best we just support the team to our full capacity (as the 3k or so travelling R's did very well today).
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation We're down, hopefully this will be the start of better things. Two seasons of stress and suffering are more than enough. Don't see anty of our eternal optimists chucking their money at our odds of staying up. Says it all.
We are scoring goals lads and look dangerous poor defending cost us today but its done and sorry but its not over lads Villa have a few tough games coming up and they aren't safe yet and I still believe a few more will be dragged in
It is not over yet. I had us down to draw with Soton and win today. We are one point worse off than I thought we would be though I concede that at this stage every point is critical. Have a feeling we will beat more teams at home, perhaps even The Gunners.
Que? Explain please we WERE CRAP today better team we're the Baggies no doubts. And we are not SAFE are we? YET.
I think we are down now, today was the biggest must not lose game of the season. It is a shame because we didn't deserve to lose that today but thats football
8 games to go and we need 2 wins and a draw just to get level That means we need to better vanilla & Wigan by that margin I can't see it now although it is mathematically possible
I am sure we will look back and regard today as the day that any chance that we had slipped away. Defeatist? Possibly. Realist? Probably.
No point prolonging the agony, we just have to come to terms that we are down. It is of course mathmatically possible we might survive, but that really isn't likely. Today, we failed to take our chances against a poor team, we cannot expect to survive with performances allowing results like that.
I still think it is not quite as unlikely as many think. I know I am in the minority but in good company with DT, Matt and others too. Have a long hard look at the run in. THere is another six pointed at Reading and some games that we can win if we score goals which we did today.Sadly we let 3 in but that has been uncharacterisitic of this team over the lastsix weeks (basically since the Swans away that embarassed the QPR team to damn well play better). LIke last year, our fate is almost certainly no longer in our own hands and we are relying on the likes of Norwich, Liverpool and Swans to beat our rivals in subsequent games. I'm happy to live with a bit of hope becasue last season I was completly sure we were down before the LIverpool home game and I ,together with most of you, was completely wrong. Villa will enjoy today but should have half an eye on their run in which still includes Man U and Chelsea and Liverpool (as does ours).
yep looks like it now....do you want harry to be your boss in the championship or do you want to see a more modern younger manager who understands the modern game more...?
