out of the three sets of fans, I've heard the least devaluation of the competition from Newcastle fans, they would genuinely be very happy to win it and not see it as a make do until the CL. Otherwise I couldn't care who wins I guess. I dont think Newcastle will though, unless they have a Fulham-like run in it.

I can't disagree NIS it's clear where the blame lies but I had to delete the other personal abuse comments in the interests of a level playing field. If he continues I will call for a ban.
When I got in and saw this result I didn't know whether to laugh or cry, so in the end I compromised, and cried laughing! It's business as usual, for mid-table fodder, 'Pool. Their win against us, last weekend, was obviously their cup final.
