Could say the same about Leeds when you were getting 38k crowds in The Prem - now you are at your natural level we are seeing the true average attendance - which is less than Brighton, Forest, Sheff Wed, Derby, Cardiff and Leicester <ok>
22,000 average isn't 8000-9.000 don't know present fig but membership was over 40,000 18 months ago.Tickets for our play off final never went on open sale.

ps our youth team take more away than millwall took Boro and Leeds.<whistle>

He's got a point Chesh and I don't think it's fair to blame it all on the ticket price. If Leeds were in the top 6 I am certain the attendance figures would be several thousand higher. I think what has happened is as the expectation has not been met then the interest my the non hard-core fan based has just fizzled out, waiting for the return to the promised land.
got a point ? Not really, with 40,000 members non fan friends wouldn't be able to get tickets for a semi or play off final. And as for price, the club reduced the price for 2 midweek games recently against bottom half teams and added 6,000 extra to the mid week normal crowd so that says different.

OLAF, good post as I am not sure exactly how serious you are being mate <laugh>

It's not a game that is going to pack Wembley out, that is for sure so it will be interesting to see what the attendance actually is on the day.

Perhaps a sweepstake??

We'll sell our 31.5k easily and whatever we got of Wigan's allocation that they don't sell <ok>

Twisting numbers m8,you've lost about 1/3 on the 88-89 top league season about the same % loss as us.

Well there we go then, shock horror teams that go down the divisions lose fans and when they do well again the plastics come back.

Can we never talk about attendances ever again as its been boring as **** over the last couple of seasons <laugh>

MFC
We have our regular band of Leeds fans on here who are more than welcome, But if we stop talking numbers with them we will lose them. <ok>

THEY HAVE **** ALL ELSE TO TALK ABOUT <laugh>

Leeds 1-2 Huddersfield

There's something we can all talk about <ok>

Send out the search party for the Leeds regulars.

when was the last time the mighty weeds were at wembley arsehole.jealous me thinks:biggrin:

Back in 2009.

If I am not mistaken, it was OLOF had the hotel booked for the playoff final thinking weeds would beat us and be at the final. Deluded lot they are. <laugh>
