Sunnyhill Boy had a dirty scope according to Twitter and will head straight to the National.

McCoy is doing what's best for himself, and JP has obviously giving his blessing. If you were in McCoys position you'd do the same. That's the downside to ante post punting, but everyone knows the rules and the risks involved.

It won't make any difference, as Sir Des Champs has about as much chance of winning, as I do of going through the card

BHA have said they have no concerns over the withdrawal of Sunnyhillboy as it was made on veterinary grounds.

Have to have a little bit on Kid Kassidy in the last. After all..... Paul Carberry is the most naturally talented jockey and I don't give a **** if you disagree (Ted Walsh live on C4, 2013)

In all seriousness he might just be able to get a tune out of this one.

............... and the parties concerned pump millions into the game each year. Oooooh I know I'm a cynic, I can't help it. Best of luck to them.

Obviously it makes you wonder with the NR of Sunnyhill Boy, but also remember that Cloudy Copper has been ruled out too, so perhaps they are just not quite right. I doubt it, but still!

I think as long as AP allows SDC to find his stride to jump cleanly, this horse will suit him ideally- he responds to pressure and will stay all day. What MCCoy really has to do is make sure he gets a nice sit and gets him into a jumping rhythm- thats the biggest concern.

Might miss some of the day but i will hopefully be around for the Gold Cup...

Anyway here's the card as i see it...

1.30 - Kashmir Peak, 14/1
2.05 - Shadow Catcher, 25/1
2.40 - African Gold, 13/2
3.20 - Long Run, 6/1
4.00 - Salsify, 11/4
4.40 - Toner D'Oudairies, 9/1
5.15 - Drumshambo, 25/1

All done e/ws...

Plus i have a 66/1 e/w ticket for Cape Tribulation after he beat Imperial Commander in the Argento. He was 100/1 before that race and with all the talk about Imperial Commander i just thought why not, ive just won some off him for this, i shall re-invest some on him for the Gold Cup... He's one of my fav horse's at the mo so i would be over the moon should he place, or win...!!!

Good luck to all for what has been a very good festival in my eyes... If nowt comes in for me today then ive come out on top in the constant battle that is Punter v Bookie...<ok>

All the best...<cheers>

Cloudy Copper was cast in his box Toppy.

I can see you're ****ting it with your SDC ante post ticket - I bet you never imagined old scream mask on board. As you say:
and we all know how good he is at that don't we? (I can post you the link of MTOY getting beat by Chatterbox if you want <laugh>)

<laugh> I certainly didn't envisage him being the man we rely on for a jumping rhtym, christ <yikes>

No antepost ticket for me Oddy, he's in some little trebles and accies today but thats it really.

By the way, here is a free competition from Skybet where you predict the Gold Cup 1-2-3 http://www.skybet.com/cms/gold-cup-competition-2013.shtm

My bookmaker sent me a promotional e-mail on Monday, with 2 special offers for today:
1) Deposit at least €50 into your betting account and get a free €10 bet on the Gold Cup
2) Enter the bonus code "GOLDCUP2013" and get a special gold cup day bonus

So I deposited €150 into my account - oh, no free bet forthcoming. I enter the promotional code and get the response "The bonus code you entered is subject to several requirements which are not met by your account." Bastards. Too many winning bets recently I fancy, they are starting to get ****ty. Plenty of other fish in the seas as they say.

How true Oddy.

In a similar vein, watch the world no.1 golfer come up with dental evidence corroborating his severe wisdom tooth "problems" that led to him simply downing tools half way through Rd1 of the Honda Classic..Maybe SWC could write his sick line!!

He tweeted the night before that he was enjoying a celebratory meal with his parents, munched a large sandwich on the 6th,failed to even mention the issue to his playing partners, his management knew nothing of it and he failed to mention it in his first interview with three trusted hacks, merely that he was in a "poor place mentally"

Will the USGA buy his poorly cobbled together excuse?..you betya!

Interesting to see what happens if the ground turns genuinely soft by 3.00 as predicted by Simon Claise.

My Salsify AP punt would look less than sound and in fact the chances of both the favs in the Foxhunters would be severely compromised..Boil over anyone?

looks a really interesting final day today (hoping it will be a little easier than yesterday to pick a winner though!)

1.30 I reckon Barry Geraghty can get off to a good start on board ROLLING STAR, i was keen on the Nicholls horse but the yard seems totally out of form
2.05 a complete lottery this race so will pick a couple of eacy way outsiders - MANYRIVERSTOCRTOSS and CLERKS CHOICE
2.40 One of my big hopes for the week AT FISHERS CROSS. The rain may be coming for it. If it doesnt then AFRICAN GOLD
3.20 I can see the arguments in favour of SDC and SC but for months I have been thinking this is between LONG RUN and BOBS WORTH, the latter if he gets in front may not be caught
4.00 Salsify again
4.40 Edeymi and Makeyourmark have claims but another each way outsider DOUBLE ROSS may well make the frame
5.15 Wouldnt be surprised to see Geraghty ride a treble today and can round off the day on FRENCH OPERA. Petit Robin has had an outstanding season and can go close.
Also if McCoy is still yet to have a winner he will be going all out on Alderwood

anyway should be a great day!
