Isn't Bryan Cooper Gigginstowns 2nd retained jockey? Surely that puts him in pole position?

Still have just enough left in the old Cheltenham kitty for a couple of bets on the final day, after three days of minor blowouts.

Will have a bit on Vasco Du Ronceray in the first race, just for a laugh, as it will be ridden by the one and only Jacques Ricou! Fair trainer though? <laugh>

Sincere congrats to the many winners on the forum over the first three days. Won't mention any names as I am bound to leave someone out. Very impressive and a big well done! <applause>

I guess I'll be the first to put up Captain Chris with his form boosted today 12s looks big. I know Johnson loves this horse

Captain Chris got outstayed by long run over a shorter distance on a flat track. How is he going to reverse form with Long run? And thats before you add in the 3 market leaders.

After having a proper look through the card these are my four main bets for tomorrow

Our Conor
Utopie Des Bordes
Bobs Worth
Salsify

Quite confident on these, hoping for another tuesday/wednesday and not another thursday!!

Good luck all <ok>

My final selection of the day that I forgot to mention was VILLAGE VIC 10/1 (4.40). I was hoping for a bigger price in truth but it looks like they have cottoned on to his mark and his formlines. He ran a lovely race behind The New One in the autumn and that form has been well and truly franked this week- probably THE standout performance of the week so far. Interestingly, since then Village Vic has struggled in the winter conditions and therefore has an effective mark of just 129 when you include the 3lb claim, is back on a much sounder surface and will get a good pace to aim at, which he shaped as if he needed when making late headway in the Betfair hurdle behind My Tent Or Yours. I think he has been well and truly plotted up by the Hobbs team.

Hearing this might be a Pricewise pick

205 Princetown Plains 1pt 20/1 PaddyPower
240 Our Vinnie 1pt 14/1PaddyPower
400 Galant Nuit 1pt 33/1PaddyPower
440 Village Vic 1pt 12/1 & Bridgets Pet 1 pt 33/1 Ladbrokes

What is the Weld horse?

They were hock deep in mud that day, on a track where Long Run always seems to give his best. It's not hard to see that form being reversed.

I think the Alb Bart looks weak. I'm very keen to take on At Fishers Cross. After Saturday one surely has to have a spin on the Twisto horse, African Gold. Far from struggling the stable seems to be in good form. However I think the race is taylormade for a dour stayer Our Vinnie could be just that.

This has been absolutely smashed tonight. Can anyone confirm if it's Pricewise or something similar??

My bet running tomorrow antepost is our Conor 6/1 massive for me £100ew if I had abet fair account I could lay it off but I'm going to watch and be as nervous as a virgin visiting a prostitute ;) lol

Ma Filleule for me in the Martin Pipe. Her G2 win lto has been franked with the 2nd and 3rd running 3rd and 5th in the mares hurdle. Forecast rain would be
be no problem.

Slightly worried about her getting up the hill myself. Been beaten in two battling finishes and id just question how much she wants to go and win a race when she has too. I do agree that the form looks good though and must have a chance

Our Conor should take all the beating tomorrow, hoping the ground has some good in it and the rain holds out which will play to his strenghts, this fella could be the real deal. He is far better than anything in the race just wether he does himself justice on the day and at the track.

Off to Cheltenham tomorrow and apparently Cheltenham is gonna be hit by heavy dsownpours which could give us a different going of 'soft' at least - possibly from the gold cup onwards as rain forecast from mid day...

Has anyone factored in the softer going which is bound to be the case at least for last 3 races?

My bets tomorrow:-

1.30pm Swynmor (e.w)
2.05pm Ifbutandwhynot (e.w)
3.20pm Sir Des Champs and Captain Chris
4.00pm Tricky Trickster (e.w)
4.40pm Gevrey Chambertin(e.w)
5.15pm Viva Colonia (e.w)

Speaking to a few irish guys in the pub today who seemed to be certain that Bryan Cooper will be riding Sir des Champs...

Have Paul Nicholls or AP even had a winner yet? Nicholls yard woefully out of form once again at Cheltenham and AP never seems to produce the goods at Cheltenham
