The FA are considering moving the FA cup semi final between minnows Millwall and minnows Wigan,
they say whats the point in using Wembley when the Wallies only have just over 100 fans go watch them hoof, and Wigan a few hundred more. they also add, there will be more police officers than fans, Barnets ground is being touted as a possible venue for the battle of the minnows, personally, i think even Barnets ground is to big for this game.

Millwall were preparing an advert to invite the Leeds massive fans to join up with the Wigan fans in an attempt to fill their half of the stadium at Wembley. But abbandoned the idea after hundreds of Leeds fans replied saying they would love to help and could we send them instructions where Wembley is and how do we get there. <laugh>

OLAF, good post as I am not sure exactly how serious you are being mate <laugh>

It's not a game that is going to pack Wembley out, that is for sure so it will be interesting to see what the attendance actually is on the day.

    Perhaps a sweepstake??

Thai, I'm being serious mate, what's the point?
Wembley should only be used when bigger clubs with a massive fanbase like Leeds, Norwich and Southend are playing.

    Exactly

I wish it would revert back to "neutral" grounds, Villa Park would have been just about right for this one <ok>

But if the figure produced by SW84 is true, and I am guessing he is not telling porkies, then that is damned disgraceful when the New Den home sections are filled to capacity every week. Out of interest Wallie fans - What percentage of the home sections are filled week on week?

The only time the people of Leeds get to Wembley is for the Rugby - & even the Rhino's have lost their 8 times on the trot!!

Of course Millwall will sell there tickets, for every millwall fan that goes, there will be about 5 friends who support other clubs that go for the piss up and day out.Crewe took 17,000 to the play offs last may most not Crewe fans.

Could say the same about Leeds when you were getting 38k crowds in The Prem - now you are at your natural level we are seeing the true average attendance - which is less than Brighton, Forest, Sheff Wed, Derby, Cardiff and Leicester <ok>

He's got a point Chesh and I don't think it's fair to blame it all on the ticket price. If Leeds were in the top 6 I am certain the attendance figures would be several thousand higher. I think what has happened is as the expectation has not been met then the interest my the non hard-core fan based has just fizzled out, waiting for the return to the promised land.

Exactly just a bunch of glory hunters, which is poor for a one club city.

They will be waiting for a long time <laugh>
