After the Man U game, what can we expect from the lunatics on high ???? Wholesale changes, subtle changes??
I think we should start with the team that we ended with at Utd. They looked seriously good, except that Mikel and Ramires just don't cut it when they have to set up from the off, the way we play. They did very well when the match needed us to bomb on, but so far they have been unable to orchestrate our pattern of play from the kick off.
No doubt the Fat Twat will be out to put his marker on the Team and show us yet again, what a fabulous tactician he is .Not content with getting something RIGHT, more luck than skill, as he did with the subs at Utd, I expect him to again **** around, open his torn sock of a mouth, and ignore all that suggests what we need in place to play winning football.
Obi and Ramires in CM would be a mistake which I expect him to make. Terry and Luiz as CDs' another one.
We should seriously be able to shred our opponents tonight, and if we don't then God help us, because no one else will.
Prediction Chelsea by 3 or somethings seriously wrong.
Anyway, we all think differently so ,over to you.

Surely pride is not an issue, performances are.

You should have pride in the fact that with all the destabilisation of the club in recent years you are still in contention for honours and looking good for CL qualification<ok>

If there is only pride in winning, it ain't pride. Take pride in success in what has been a turbulent few years, only those interested in bragging rights see no pride when there are no trophies

There is little logic to your slating of Rafa, lucky, lol, the Mikel change he was told he didn't know what he was doing, it completely turned the game on it's head, hardly lucky.

Sometimes one player can make all the difference, you had plenty of options and he chose exactly the right one to get the job done.

Take Liverpool v Zenith, BR made changes and it was actually to the detriment to the team and destroyed their momentum and effectiveness, Fergie took too long and made the wrong calls when Modric was introduced, even with Nani gone the game was in their hands.

Would it kill you not to abuse your manager for what is a very short list of remaining games?

Although I dont always agree with the sides he selects, I am beginning to understand some of the selection problems he has. Chelsea have now played more games in all competitions than any other side in all 4 divisions so far. We have more games still to play than any of them as well! With all the players we have out on loan we have a modest sized squad to get us through our obligations and so I can understand the need to regularly switch and rest players to hopefuuly get the best end of season position/trophy? I think we'd be better off waiting and seeing where we are in May and then either blowing him a big raspberry and giving him a pat on the back as the situation warrants! <ok>

can't argue with any of that Blue.<ok>

I think if he leaves you with CL qualification and the EL and or FA cup, he deserves a pat on the back on his way out tbh

chelsea>100 years. Sorry, nearly spat my coffee out over that one. A goal and a good performance would be nice.

Yes, we have played a lot of fixtures and yes, we have a lot to play....but that is our fault - players and managers. We've let games go to replays, we've bailed out of the Champions League, we're not secure in 2nd position - all our own doing.

I can't remember who said it (a Chelsea player of old - probably on CTV) but they mentioned that they didn't care about playing x2 games a week for any length of time. It meant that the training sessions were very light and all their energy went into the matches - something that they would clearly rather be doing. I appreciate things have changes since those days, but I'm guessing there is still some truth in the matter. Also, playing competitively on such a regular basis, even with mixing the teams up, the players really should have a complete understanding of each other, and not second guessing what others might be doing.

In all honesty, I see us struggling to beat both Man U & City in the FA Cup, but we ought to be able to take care of business tonight (not taking anything for granted) and securing a top 3/4 in the EPL. If we don't, it's just not good enough.

If I was allowed to choose just 1, I would opt for 3rd in the Premiership.

The only hat trick Torres could do would be to pull a rabbit out of one, and he'd probably fluff that up as well.

To clarify, my reference to a Torres hat trick was the miss with his left, miss with his right and miss a header!!

Seriously though if anyone was due a performance it's Torres, I fancy a goal from him tonight though I'm worried we wont do enough.

Cheers Bloo/angel - it is frustrating though. I'm not one of those individuals who expects/demands us to win & get results, but averaging the season out, we have not managed to equal or exceed the sum of our parts. I am disappointed that we appear to be under-achieving, but I am more disappointed that at times - it almost looks like a lack of effort.

We cannot (regardless of what salaries people are on) expect them to win every game. What we can expect is 100% effort and to understand what their role is in the game. Any less is unacceptable.

Make sure we do not implode for the rest of the season, hang on to the quality players, bring a few of the loanees back and get a long-term manager - then look forward to next season and beyond.

We have some very young players of real quality, something for us all to be grateful for.
