OP made some very good points imo. If respect is earned just by the amount of posting you do then I must be very well respected and everyone knows that I am not so don't really get that line of argument.

NMG it's the quality of posts and the acceptance of other peoples views that earn respect - having your own opinion and trying to simply force people into agreeing with it is what removes respect - I am balanced and give my opinion - others don't they force their opinion (as you do about any Geordie who plays for us). People who say "I am always right" light HotRedhead really have no respect as they have not earned respect by listening to other opinions. OZ has names me in his "I am back" post he gave up because I had a different opinion to him but I am trying to put this behind us - OZ also posted something quite detrimental about me in one of my posts but I haqve commented regarding that and it;s water under the bridge IMO - wehter OZ feels the saame is another matter.

by all means have an opinion, but when other disagree with you don;t spit your dummy out just try to see things from their point of view

Wickham & Campbell did nothing to prove they should play week in week out. Graham was bought because he is a proven premier league goal scorer.
Oneil is playing 442 like most fans have moaned & moaned for & so far its not proving dividends, so where all **** managers. Gardner plays right back because bardsleys been injured & when fit has been a liability. Oneil has played every player in the squad & no one in cm is playing consistently well.

He needs time to bring in the right personnel, unfortunately that's not always easy. Short isn't spending vast amounts, players don't want to spend there millions in the bridges so its not easy to attract players. Let's lower our expectations & hope to one day be suprised.

Some good answers to my original post mate, agree with most of what you say, thanks for respecting mu post as for its original intent. I guess if we lower our expectations and live in hope then from a realist perspective thats all we can ask. Cheers Roker.
