I think its fair to say I think there is a " Clique" developing on the board, some may disagree but that is my opinion, I have considered leaving too. It seems that people ( LFC fans ) seem to be leaving due to other members almost ganging up in groups on individual members. BBF,Sky,Lil Jatt, MFG all left or rarely post due to reactions of other LFC fans who they disagree with them, very sad, us LFC fans should stick together and should be ganging up on the Mancs and the Blues, not each other.IMO there are people on this board far too cosy with fans of the opposition.

Some people on this board spend more time talkin about stuff absolutely f**k all to do wi footy, than watchin the game. The other week I posted info on extra tickets for the Zenit game, everyone just made excuses for why they cant go, if you REALLY care about LFC I dont care what your circumstances are you should be able to go to a couple of games a season.Too many plastics armchair fans with no passion

I PM'd BBF asking him to stay and we spoke about this clique crap. There are people on her who think alike about our club, this is bound to happen with a core subject. There are then people who think a little differently. Everyone is welcome to their opinions and we are all Liverpool fans at the end of the day when any dust has settled.

I try to get on with everyone and try to reply to every thread even if it doesn't interest me. There will always be people who dont really get on that's just life.

If you disagree with another red fan on here gave an argument but dont go over the top or take it to heart.

Calling fans plastic or having a go at them because they get on with some online manc is taking the piss and the very reason that your so called clique is going to have a pop at you. They would be right to do so and it has nothing to do with gang mentality.

I don't post as often on here as I used to do, but that has nothing to do with cliques, backslapping etc, it's generally due to lack of time. I work weird shift patterns and generally when I get on here with something interesting to say, it's already been said! As for BBF, I have never had a problem with him, as far as I can see, he's a passionate reds fan with some forthright views, don't see anything wrong with that!
With regards to the 'plastics' comment, again, don't take it personally. I live 350 miles from anfield, go to games four or five times a season, but there's no way I can get to games with out planning, at short notice. I guess that makes me a semi plastic!
Anyway guys, we are all here for one reason, our mutual love of all things LFC.
Remember that.

Interesting about the clique element! I was only thinking the same thing a few weeks ago; for this reason I decided to not take part as much anymore. Feels a waste of time posting a lot of the time because it seems depending on who you are affects the responses or not as the case may be. Anyway have decided this is also my last post too. Bye guys!

That's a shame but I dont get why you would leave?

This is all getting a bit silly now.

I always thought the 'clique' got the worst responses to threads, as soon as they are posted the other members of that 'clique' would automatically rip the piss out of them (<whistle>). However, the 'non-clique' posters get a more serious response.

If you mean general comments then it is slightly different but the piss taking part remains the same. When I first started posting on here it was hard to get a response as an unknown, maybe this is what is meant by 'clique'?

Personally, I don't see it but also suspect that I am part of the 'clique' that people refer to

Different scenario with Sky mate. Nothing to do with the board <ok>

Didn't Sky leave for personal reasons? Again, I'm not 100% sure on that so I may be wrong.

Also Lil Jatt never really posted that often anyway did he? And we all know about MFG, comes on here, moans then goes without backing up his argument <confused>

I think people forget that this is a football forum and we're hear to discuss football, not bicker amongst ourselves like teenage girls.

He's not 'left' as such. He's taking some time out for various reasons.

Ok how do I become part of this clique! I have been on the outside looking in for a year now, and no one has offered me so much as a Smegging blanket..
It’s cold out here guys, have a heart!
LOL
Is it wrong I miss Baz?

I read your posts, you talk more sense than 95% of people on this board, but some members prefer to have a pop at our own fans then the Mancs and the Blues

Think you're getting a little carried away here 6Ds. I've never had a go at you or Donga. I only ever have a go at someone who asks for it, and that includes fans of any club, including mancs and BBS <ok>

Hey everyone.

Im not a major member of this board. I'm not close to many people here and I don't post as often as I'd like. But I saw this thread and would like to speak my mind from an "outsiders" perspective.

I'm not from Liverpool. I'm not English, nor have I lived in England. I visited once and fell in love with the city and its football club. The people were friendly and always laughing. I was always helped if needed and I noticed a type of camaraderie in the city that I didn't in the rest of England. After reading about the history and customs and lore of Liverpool, I realised that this was the "Scouse, not English" sentiment coming out of people.

This board has got that. While we have many people from many countries and continents, like Nabzy (Ukraine I believe?) and Bluff in America, most people here are either from or born in Liverpool.

There are times where I do feel like I don't belong here. I don't get many of the references thrown about and since I don't know anyone, I can't join in with banter. When threads are derailed, I don't speak my mind because I know it will be ignored and jokes will continue. English is also not my first language, so often my posts come across as too serious as i write how I was taught.

But despite that, this is my favourite forum and the place where I consider home. Nowhere else have I seen match threads like Chris's or hundred page long banter threads. Any news the club is involved in is posted and I have a place to share my opinions. My opinions are always respected by fellow members and often my lengthy analysis are read and debated.

I'm sorry to hear that BBF has left. While I did see that he had a specific set of values that I didn't always believe in, I always considered him mainstay of the forum. All of you are to me. And while we have our issues like any community, this place is fantastic. Don't throw that all away because of petty bickering. Its not worth it. Where else can you discuss football like here? Nowhere. Yes I don't agree with MFG and I had a small spat with him a while back. But his opinions should be welcomed and not called out. BBF as well. We are a dysfunctional family. I enjoy windups and banter after the match has been discussed. But sometimes there does seem to be a major clique. It can be daunting for guests to sign up if we can't get along. Save your arguments for the pub. And stop fighting.

What a ****ing fantastic post. Your English is exemplary, Danilo. You can come and join my slightly insane clique at the Large Hadron Collider anytime you like <laugh>. And we need more posts of this calibre on here. Thanks also for the comments on the City of Liverpool and the club. You're absolutely right. Keep posting mate. One thing. You're not French are you? <yikes>

Everyone knows your the leader of this band of dissidents so stop pretending otherwise or I'm leaving the forum.........

....for an hour to get breakfast.

"internecine", that's our word of the day. on the subject of Wishi, I miss her too. Yes, she wailed when we lost and, like several of us, raged at the treatment of Kenny and Suarez by the media and FSG, but she stood her ground against Mancs and b/s. But, for me, the biggest 'joy' i get from this site is being able to disagree with people, quite often (in my case) making me change my original position.

Anyway, good times around the corner (next season <whistle>) and let's hope we have a storming end to the season. Tough game on Saturday, but if we can score first again I fancy it, and the good thing about Sunday was coming back from behind, deservedly or not. i'd be quite happy if we spawn a few games of these last nine, as well as playing good football in the others.

And if you're reading BBF - come back, you big tart!

I don't agree. New members/posters always get a hearty welcome when they first appear <ok>

It was a good post and personally I like Danilo posts as he tends to post longer responses with loads of info on games and players he's an essential cog giving a different point of view.

I posted on a thread having a go at pretty much everyone for not responding to serious posts, if it wasn't for Danilo, Dongo etc this place would be full of nonsense so please guys see your place on the forum and realise that every post and thread is welcome.

Being serious though {Not like me!]
All in all we have a great group on this Board, and even posters like MFG that I disagree with 80% of the time; I look forward to what he has to say!
I know he is only saying what he does out of love for the club. He has polar opposite opinions to me on most things, but that’s good. I like to have my opinions and believes challenged, and no I am not right 100% of the time.
It’s important we take others thoughts and opinions on board. We don’t have to agree, but that’s where the reasoned debate should come in. And I think most of the time the guys on the board do it well.
We are all here because we love our club and we are going to disagree from time to time..
But you know what?
Thats ok!!!

Unless you're from the dark side and don't happen to agree with the LFC consensus!!
