    Time to let go man<ok>

Be positive, especially when it ain't going well, it's all easy peasy being positive when you're winning as it's a byproduct of winning, the test of character is being positive when the chips are down<ok>

Thought I'd add my 2 pence worth: -

When the game started I thought we needed to just keep it tight for the first 10-20 minutes as we have a habit of making life hard for ourselves against United. Lo and behold, 2-0 down inside 10 minutes. Much like Barca away last year I feared the worst and thought we could be in for a spanking. Carrick was getting to much space and United made it look all too easy. Typical as well that Hernandez who only ever seems to get a game when it's against us, scores again.

However we started to gradually feel our way into the game and save for some selfish play from Ba and wayward finish from Moses (excellent Moses/Mata combo to make the chance though), we really should have gone in at 2-1.

Come the 2nd half and replacing the best goal scoring midfielder in the P.L era in Lampard with Mikel looked like madness. However if it had backfired Rafa would have got pelters so I'm going to give him credit where it has paid off. Having Mikel on gave Ramieres license and what a 2nd half performance from him. He absolutely destroyed that United midfield in the second half whose lack of fitness and quality was not becoming of the next P.L champions.

In the end I was left almost disappointed as we know from recent visits; United at home is often no easier than United away and maybe we've blown our best chance. We thoroughly deserved to win and had the chances to do it; make no mistake, United were on the ropes and begging for the final bell. Such a shame we didn't take one of those chances. Great save by De Gea at the end, woeful attempt by Torres and back to the Bridge in the near future.

That 2nd half showing was as good as we've been this season IMO. The biggest disappointment is if we could match that on a semi regular basis we'd probably be still in the title race as we showed we are as good as United. But they have Fergie and stability while we self implode every season.

Just wondering whether United's name is on this cup. They should have gone out to West Ham and should have gone out to us yet they are still there.

Also Fergie's comments about being tired made me laugh. Who played at home on the tuesday and who played in Romania on the thursday again???

Lets hope this is the catalyst for a strong finish...starting Thursday.

I should have just ignored this mate, I really should have but losing after all the bollox on the mouser and other threads must be killing you if you feel the compulsion to make this post.

The game was last weekend, should you not be on the Spuds board discussing what is happening this weekend with magic8ball HIAG?

Slagging off is one thing, Strokes aren't funny<ok>

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

    Thats HILARIOUS!!

A Manc can never be "unbiased" or even fair. Its not in the make-up.

Chelsea deserved to win for the 2nd half alone. They were superb and London Utd were absolutely awful. Rafa tactically destroyed WhiskeyFace and one worldy save from De Gea saved his blushes. Still couldn't be a man and shake Rafas hand though just because Rafa had him off. He has no class. Never has and never will.

Chelsea will destroy Utd at the Bridge and Rafa will give Fergie another lesson in tactics just like the 4-1 again and then hopefully he'll hold another press conference after the game like he did explaining to everyone present just how easy it is to beat Utd. That was the best PC I've ever seen. He even got a clap.

Sure they have, whatever is going on with Fat Twat and JT is not helping. Cahill and JT would seem to be best for us, they are similar in pace and with Azpi and Cole, there's enough speed to cope. Brana for mine is much better at right back, and Luiz should be moved to midfield, as he's too quick/impetuous for the other CD. Also loved the kid Abe, why has he disappeared??? Cech had a horrible first half, as did Cahill, but they did pull their socks up.
We are so close to our best, yet the Fat Twat insists on changes when not necessary. He really needs to get the midfield right, and the rest seems to fall into place. It was a great display 2nd half, which only goes to prove it's all about the right selection.

After our season, the only things we're positive about is that Rafa is not for us, and that Torres is useless as a lone striker !!!!!
The performance 2nd half against Man U shows what we can do when we get the selection right, and there's lots of positives to take from that.
So, looking forward to more of the same, onwards and upwards.
