This United side can't beat us 11 v 11.

Good to see the players taking responsibility, we all know Benitez is inept but so was Grant, we should win in spite of him not because of him. We were unlucky not to finish them at Old Trafford, vastly overrated team and ours and City's implosion is a damning indictment of how poor the league has been as well as everybody bar the top 7 + WBA/Swansea being woeful.

Benitez is gone now, we know he isn't staying. Time for the team to regroup. Spurs have bottled it today so we can go 3rd if we win our game in hand.

Our team isnt Overated as many dont really rate it except us, and the league isnt poor but the defending is woeful

All the teams are overrated Dave, not just yours. I think Spurs and Liverpool are probably the two exceptions to that rule.

You just admited the league is poor defending is so bad its embarrassing this year the fact that all 3 of chelsea United and city have well over 100 goals in all competitions with a load of games to go says it really that would never happen a few years ago.

Man Utd would be 3rd or 4th in La Liga and 2nd/3rd in the Bundesliga (at best). That's our best team there.

Excellent performance, i didn't even think they were 2 goals better than us in the first half.

Have to say though, the substitutions did change the game and Rafa certainly got it right. We played some really nice stuff and even seemed to work harder off the ball than usual. I know we were good, but was it helped by them being bad? Or were we really that good?

Only disappointing thing is we didn't win!

Anyway we have to build on this now, one performance at Old Trafford is good but how about playing at that level more often? Yes please.

Agreed!

I thought we played pretty well first half but second half was very good.

Oscar/Rammy/Hazard/Mata (brilliant)/ Luiz (2nd half) were all good. Mikel played well too.

I thought Cech was 100% poor on the first goal.

Frank was out of it and Moses had an unusually bad time of it.

As for Ba - at the moment I just don't think he is up to it; I hope to eat humble pie on this one but right now I think he is another bum deal.

The fact you've spent a hell of alot more than us, and pay out a fair bit more in wages, then your side should be better than ours, but it clearly isn't, hence league positions.

You did outplay us in the 2nd half today, il admit that. Our team should have kicked on at 2-0 up, rather than trying to contain you

Ah, last time the younger side was the excuse for being comprehensively outplayed now its the wages/squad cost card.

De Gea £18m
Rafael £2.5m
Ferdinand £30m
Evans Free
Evra £5.5m
Carrick £16.5m
Cleverley Free
Nani £13.5m
Kagawa £12m
Rooney £30m
Hernandez £7m

Total Cost = £135m

Cech £7m
Azpiliceuta £7m
Cahill £7m
Luiz £25m
Cole £5m
Ramires £18m
Lampard £12m
Mata £23.5m
Oscar £20m
Moses £9m
Ba £7.5m

Total Cost = £141m

United Wage Bill = £160m per year
Chelsea Wage Bill = £171m per year

Lets try not to let facts get in the way of the argument though, that would be silly <doh>

Inept? <laugh>
Bollox DL, you lot have given rafa so much stick you just cant turn around and give him credit and instead give it all to the players, the players that have been under performing all season<doh> He has gone to OT and smashed United before remember. Proper smashed them 1 4 leaving Fergie in a daze mumbling "United team were the best team"

Hazard has been getting better and better but only this last couple of months, a fair few new players, I mean the old guard are gone pretty much. Impatience can often be misinterpreted as plasticity <whistle>

Those scientific calculators can be tricky for mancs to use with their cryptic + and = buttons<laugh>
