I think there has been a bit of a change of attitude at the ground, which is being followed (gradually) on here. We have grown weary of moaning about and criticizing our own players, at last. Very noticeable in the Upper Loft yesterday, even after the goal was conceded no abuse being hurled at the players, just an increased volume of support. The traditional whipping boys Park, and when they came on SWP and Mackie (not a favourite round where I sit) got nothing but positive vibes from the crowd, even when the latter two did their traditional comedy control moments. Perhaps the blitz spirit is kicking in.
This forum is of course the place to criticise, let off steam and air your views. But even here I get the feeling that we are moving on. Park is a QPR player, our player. If Harold picks him, its for a reason. He has for the last two games and we've won them both. He's obviously doing what Harold wants him to do. Good team player.

Excellent post. I notice that in S block too.

Yesterday Park contributed to an overall good team performance in which all the squad played their part. I dont think he deserves any critisism. His performance was probably his best in an R'sss shirt.

I still havent see Yappy's appology to Judo though, for the abuse he gave him. Still waiting.

<doh>

Park is waiting for Judo's apology. He shook his head when he heard some of his own QPR supporters thought he played like **** the last two matches, not giving him any credit for his professional display of dispersing the enemy in the midfield. And that's after, once again, the commentators and pundits talking about how brilliant he was for us. He appreciates the rest of the supporters sticking up for him and our cause.

Park could be the difference between staying or relegation. His form has improved hugely lately.

The blend yesterday was right, Park and Mbia both worked their socks off to give Townsend and Hoilett a platform to get at Sunderland, we can't play 11 showboaters...

The earlier comment about **** and transparency were spot on. :headbang:

It was also interesting that his improved performance came with longer studs, he didn't slip over once that i can recall which in turn gives home an extra two yards of space or two yards closer to the opposition.

Considering he was out of position, playing in the centre, he was good again yesterday. Even his link up play was good in the first half with some good, crisp passing.

Spot on. He was solid today, covered lots of ground, harried and harassed and did all the simple things well. He's a little bit lightweight in the challenge is all I would say.

Glad you think he's started to get close! I prefer the others who get right in there and win the ball back.

Who would you want, playing in the middle-right side as Park did against Sunderland?

Granero
Derry
Jenas
Adel
Diakite

Mbia takes the other spot permanently, obviously, he's been there the whole season.

Hoilett, SWP and Mackie are wingers.

Is Diakite OK since Africa? We've not heard anything.

So how and who would you play it? Formation would probably have to change with Adel in there. I don't think Diakite can go up front like Park can. Jenas can, may be Jenas alongside Park, but that would put Jenas out, but by switching wing positions they'll all be acting as pseudo-SuperSubs.
Derry obviously more a deep mid, more a defender than attacking mid, or even a PITCH-COVERING MID as Park is. Park covers the entire Park <laugh>. And nobody else covers it like Park does.

Choices choices....... a conundrum. Formation dictates the set-up.

I have defended Park from day one as in a nutshell i know he is a very good premiership player and that class doesn't just go. The QPR crowd at LR at times are completely clueless and any player is bound to suffer from the most important factor at this level confidence. I am pleased to hear that we are backing our team a lot more and its exactly the attitude i have been ranting on about ... Our team need us to get behind them even when it was going ****e and things weren't clicking. It is this swing that will help change minds about our talented squad and help us get back to what we are the pride of West London ... you know what i think was happening was happening I hope we restore and realise exactly how lucky we are to have these players.

I had Korean fans both in front of me and behind me. Very happy and enjoying themselves. I was high fiving the two in front of me when we scored, great fun.

BUT

The poor Korean fella behind me didn't turn up for the second half. And I can't blame him the poor fella. The man sitting next to him kept abusing Park (and (hopefully) "inadvertently" the Koreans around us) throughout the first half. "Take him with you back to Korea" etc. and many much worse than that. Felt ashamed being a QPR fan then, and of myself for not telling him off, me and my mates were disgusted by it. "Funny" thing is he stopped abusing Park in the second half as he didn't have someone next to him hurling the abuse towards. Racist ****!

Bad experience that doesn't reflect well on us. What is wrong with people?

They are racist Sickos! Should have been thrown out.

4 Koreans had to have a police guard last week because someone was having a go at them by the pub.

Some people are just so small minded, couple that with drink and thats why it happens.

Seriously?! Unbelievable. Will take time for TF to build a "brand" if this is the way new supporters are greeted.

They had half a dozen police protecting them waiting forma Korean cop to show up and then they went in, I assume the Korean speaking cop went in with them. Perhaps the club should advise the koreans to go in sar and avoid the loft and r block.

I had a Korean kid in front of me and the kid could see a thing, he was sat on his own so I managed to tell him that he should stand on the seat when everyone stands.

Sorry..no time at all for racists...all ****s...would happily burn one given the chance....

Racism is just down to stupidity, cant even blame the parents......kids make choices. Some good, some bad. How can you be racist and supporty a team that has black players..? too dumb to understand for me.

and for any racists reading this..then go FCUK yourself!...thanks..feel better now!

I was in the SAR Flyer. Didn't do them any good, you'll find morons everywhere I guess. Take your point though, I would also have thought the SAR would be "safer".

The women sat next to the abuser, his wife/girlfriend/unlucky seating neighbour tried to no awail to calm him down. She sounded sincerely shameful.
