It's amazing how we can all see a very different game, isn't it? In the one I was watching we won 4-0 away at Mansfield and Taarabt scored a hat trick.

I agree. He totally disapeared after the first 20 minutes or so until after we went 2-1 up. He didn't do much wrong, he usually has been much worse, but he did extremley little for someone playing in the workshop of the team in CM, apart from running around in seemingly his own little sideshow. Good job M'bia, Townsend and Hoillet played so well.

I cant think of a single bad thing he did, or anyone really.

People criticising Park today are just haters.

Completely right. I think it just saves brain power to settle on a rigid opinion of a player rather than adjust it based on how they play. Form doesn't exist, players are just bad or good. In fact there's no point even playing the games each week- because you can just tally up what you'd give each player on the pitch out of 10 before, then give the win to the side with the highest score :undecided:

I love you Flyer :emoticon-0116-evilg, and certainly don't hate Park. I feel a bit sorry for him, as he always seems so lost on a football pitch.

You were clearly watching a different game. He was no better or worse than Mbia. However both wingers were excellent and better than both CMs.

So he should't - if you are at the game you got to be giving everyone 100% support. There wasn't much to say about Park today,he didn't do much.

Neither did Mbia, they cancelled out the opposing CM and allowed the wingers to dominate the game. Him and Mbia were solid which means neither should be criticised but Park gets it based on previous performances.

I thought Park's performance was a bit like some of Barton's better ones. Quietly acting as the engine of the midfield, linking up play, pressuring opposition, and generally mopping up. Mbia looked a lot like his old self too- if he can keep this up then he might be crucial to our push for safety.

Same game, and if you think M'bia and Park's contribution were the same take another butchers! I am sure M'bia made many more successful tacles and interceptions, many more successful and longer passes than Park's few 5 meter ones, mostly sideways or backwards and when forward ones they were passes my ol granny could make, and I know M'bia had at least 2 shots at goal to Park's zero, one went to Row 39, but the other their Keeper couldn't hold and we could have scored from it if someone had een a bit sharper to the rebound.

Yesterday Park contributed to an overall good team performance in which all the squad played their part. I dont think he deserves any critisism. His performance was probably his best in an R'sss shirt.

I still havent see Yappy's appology to Judo though, for the abuse he gave him. Still waiting.

Park could be the difference between staying or relegation. His form has improved hugely lately.

The blend yesterday was right, Park and Mbia both worked their socks off to give Townsend and Hoilett a platform to get at Sunderland, we can't play 11 showboaters...

I think there has been a bit of a change of attitude at the ground, which is being followed (gradually) on here. We have grown weary of moaning about and criticizing our own players, at last. Very noticeable in the Upper Loft yesterday, even after the goal was conceded no abuse being hurled at the players, just an increased volume of support. The traditional whipping boys Park, and when they came on SWP and Mackie (not a favourite round where I sit) got nothing but positive vibes from the crowd, even when the latter two did their traditional comedy control moments. Perhaps the blitz spirit is kicking in.
This forum is of course the place to criticise, let off steam and air your views. But even here I get the feeling that we are moving on. Park is a QPR player, our player. If Harold picks him, its for a reason. He has for the last two games and we've won them both. He's obviously doing what Harold wants him to do. Good team player.
