Tough choice. Between Summerfield and Taylor, went for Taylor and fact that he provided more opportunity for others. Crap game, perhaps not as bad as other ones have been but disappointing to watch. We started brightly and I was hopeful for ten minutes...

Well I did say the result would depend on how many of the lads would put a good shift in. At the start of the season we had poor players but would work there socks off, now we still have poor players but the work rate as dropped off all together, if we had any heart we would have used the Tranmere game as a spring board, but the quality just isn’t there...its no use calling for GT's head, he's trying to build a team on peanuts, and things ain’t going to change

just to bring us back to reality, how many midfielders are injured? and what is the total number of injuries. turner out? oh that really is scraping the barrell, almost as good as blaming the ref. every time we have a reverse.

may i suggest part of our malaise is down to injuries and some wonga loans may not be contributing fully, if at all.

we need a proven goal scorer next season.may i reccommend jamie cureton for a 1 year contract. 20 goals so far for exeter, i would give him a 1 year contract as a player/coach or player/ assistant manager. his cameo performances may make the difference next season,

Roland! wallet please!

For 80 minutes the worst football since Simpson. Most of the blame comes from poor signings in the summer. The failure to recruit a decent striker. Poor substitutions during the game and initially too much chopping and changing with the starting line up. All down to the manager, I'm afraid.

Turner Out.

Kasule,
As always I respect your opinion but I cannot agree with you on Turner. I think the club as a whole have understimated the strength of League 1 and we are paying the price for not getting our best players new contracts before the end of last season. It has been pretty desperate stuff at times this year but we are still in pole position to hang on and regroup. I expect to see Roland stepping down soon and Turner taking his place as chairman - we then need to find a decent manager and follow the young player route that Walsall have done this year.
Summerfield for me for man of the match - at least he looked as if he cared.

I think you may be making it a bit to simplistic about Rowland stepping down and handing over to Turner, that just ain’t going to happen...Rowland will want a return on his or our(depending how you look at it) investment...when Rowland goes he will be taking an hefty wadge with him!!....in the form of the sale of OUR club....

Tinned Hats,
I do not know about the details but that was the big rumour swirling around the ground yesterday. For my part if there was one person in the world I would want as chairman (or manager until he chooses to step down) it would be Graham Turner.

so turner has money in the club? if not where is he going to get it from? i suspect the sale of hereford may not have fetched many rosary beads.

hopefully we are stuck with Roland and Graham! pro tem. let us hope a fully padlocked wallet links them.
