I suppose my "Daddies of Europe" comment is a little bit premature. At the moment, I'd say we are more like "the bloke what is currently shagging your mother" of Europe, but I can see us becoming the Daddies of Europe, once you kids have learned to accept the fact.

And I don't get where Ozzie thinks all I do is wum.

Of course HIAG is totally right, he's on the current champions board arguing with the 5 times holders of a trophy Spurs have only qualified once for to have a 0.0000000001% chance of winning blathering about how great Spurs are dominating the 2nd tier competition of European football after playing the first leg against the first decent team they've faced<doh>

The only thing Spurs have a chance of winning is having the award for the most bookings for divers in a season ever, or have they already won that? Diving Champions of Europe, nay the World, Diving World Champions.

What is funnier for most fans is the fact that you Mousers still believe that you are United's biggest rivals, and that Roy Rodgers is the new Bob Paisley (instead of the ex-Swansea manager). When, in the past on the Spurs board, you've tackled me on all your historical stuff, I have conceded that 'Pool once was a very great side. But that was back in the 70s, mate. Times have changed, and football has moved on; 'Pool is no longer one of the big boys.

You'd best bare that in mind before you start making out that, somehow, 'Pool and CFC have something in common. The only thing you have in common right now is that you are both behind Spurs in the EPL; the major difference, of course, is that Chelsea are actually our rivals for a CL place this season, 'Pool are not.

I cannot help it if you don't like that, but it is a fact.
 
HAIG - I think where you put yourself in a tricky position is that you are confusing optimism with desire.

By all means dream of what your team might do but don't make crass statements eg "Daddies of Europe".

Spurs (as are we) are a country mile from being best in the PL let alone the CL at this moment in time. Spurs are a vast way off ever winning the CL. You haven't even really started serving your apprenticeship at the top table let alone having a full-on tilt at the title.

There is a huge difference between getting in a state of hyper-excitement at being in third place in the league ad actually going on to win a number of meaningful trophies and esp' Big Ears.

Bloo, he can't help himself! being 606's biggest sum all he does is spout utter crap and has been sussed by loads of us now. talking your team up is one thing making yourself look an utter twat is what he does.

Do you really think I go around telling people that we are "the Daddies of Europe," or do you think that it is more likely that I used that phrase to raise a laugh and get a reaction?

I think you need to go and have a few lessons in bantering then as that is not how you are coming across. You had a similar conversation with me earlier. So is it that we are all idiots or perhaps you have got it wrong. I suppose it depends on what 'reaction' you are trying to get.

The first part of that post, you've earned, fair do's. Liverpool played well, even though we gifted 2 goals.

The red bars are from all of my Mouser friends. They know I'm not so soft as to want to be "liked" so they all "diss" me, as a sign of respect and admiration.
