Villa were doing well until that moment, as a central defender myself I hate to see the last man trying to beat a striker with little drags and turns.
Villa were unlucky in the end, very good penalty shout turned down near the end, I can only think the ref couldn't see it because from most of the angles I saw it from it was a clear pen.
I thought they'd go backwards sacking redknapp but AVB has improved them massively. They play good football and he has got some of the players back playing really well.
You can see why Inter have struggled a bit in Serie A this season, defensively they are very poor, credit to Spurs though, they have fully deserved this win.
Anyone seen Neil Warnock on Footballers Football Show? **** me!!He's got more foundation on than my missus
AVB's always been a great tactician and good manager, just poor at handling egos. It showed at Chelsea, but I think Spurs may be the perfect club for him - they've flattered to deceive too much in the last few years (decades?! ) to have problems with egos in the squad. Wouldn't be surprised if he led them to a decent title challenge and CL run next season, but then faded away in following years as the players start letting the successes go to their head and he struggles to rein them in again.
Tevez arrested for driving while disqualified ... what a thick idiot !! hate him ..can't say am sad about it http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-Tevez-arrested-for-driving-while-banned.html
As good as their squad is... would it be any better than say Arsenals current squad (which is pretty poor by Arsenal standards) if they didn't have Bale? I think they would need at least a few more top class players to seriously challenge for the title to add needed strength in depth. But if they lost Bale next season and without any major additions then I think top 6 is the best they could hope for.
