Mood swings are the order of the day, last week Hull were eyeing first place as theirs, now it's back to suicide watch as it was after their game against Bolton.
Now Watford are eyeing up the top spot after a good run from them.
We are getting nervous, I am anyway, but its a good nervousness.
As Leonardo says, we have the gap in our favour and that game in hand, which is now basically an extra chance, whether we get anything from it is a different matter, but it's there and just a point gained from it could mean a lot.
I also seen somebody write that Watfords win didn't gain them 3 points as far as we are concerned, it was worth only 2 due to our draw, drawing cuts down their points tally when they win(but not forever of course)
All to play for for the top 4 it seems, but we still hold sway, can we keep hold of it is the question.

If we're getting nervous how does MM feel! Mind you I'd have his position for the money he's on!
Been here before so I am not getting nervous as I had no expectation of going up at the start of the season and I have maintained that view all season....

We can do nothing but wait for each game as it comes, it was not the same when we were only looking to get in the play offs in previous seasons. Did you expect it to be easy? Do you think the sides below us are finding it easy?

As pointed out the other teams are forgetting if we dont win we can still draw so they dont get the three points they are banking on to cut our lead. The draw is useless to them though.

The league table shows us as the best team overall.

The other teams must have been wobbling all season not to be top by now. Hull wobbled from second to third.

No one knows how the final table will finish but we have a better chance than anyone else and thats more than we might have expected this season. Malky and the players have done us proud to get us top, no matter what happens we should appreciate what a great season they have given us.

The bold bit is the only part I disagree with. I'm 80-90% sure that you will still win the league (I don't want you to, but even now you are still strong favourites), but I'd be stunned if you actually pulled further away from the chasing pack between now and May.

Had we won on Tuesday, I think we'd be pretty much there. However, we didn't, and we've gone and given ourselves the jitters ... Again. For the first time this season, I've got worried. But... I don't think malky is as stubborn as Dj. I bloody hope he isn't anyway. I really feel for Mason in particular because i don't think he's done anything wrong. Let's face it, he's got everything to play for, whereas HH doesn't. Kimbo too. Here are two players who want to prove their worth in terms of premiership quality. I think MM should back these boys.

From the start Malky has picked teams that not everyone agrees with and yet the teams he has picked have got us top 5 points clear.

We can easily think if when we lose other players would have won it for us but we cant know that. The points tally shows he gets it right more often that he gets it wrong.

Plus if it all goes wrong in these final games he will get all the blame, what he has done for us up to now will be quickly forgotten.

The manager is doing his best, the players are doing their best and the owners have done their best...if our best is not good enough so be it.

We have suffered the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune before and we always come back and try again.

When was the last time we were in the bottom half of the table or fighting relegation I ask myself.

It's all up in the air but we are in our bad run at the moment, I think the Leicester game will see us out of it and our last 11 games will see 22+ points.

As a Cardiff fan I would say that but I genuine think that.

I agree with the general sentiment but just because I or others on here question MM's selection doesn't mean we're not 100% behind MM and the team or think people aren't giving their best.

I like MM as a manager and he has obviously got more right than wrong this season but IMO and others who watched the game on Tuesday we sent out the wrong 11 and waited too long to react. I fully expected to see halftime subs after that terrible first half showing in which we were VERY lucky to go in level.

We were proven correct as the performance only improved when Noone was brought on and it was too little too late. Other times this season I've been wrong. I cursed MM for bringing Gunnar on as an attacking sub before Xmas and he scored the winner!

I don't except the "if our best isn't good enough" point of view either. Our best has played this many games and got us 5pts + 1game advantage 3/4 of the way through the season. We are good enough the only thing that will stop us is an unbelievable run from 2 sides or the burn out we suffered last season (and the Watford fans keep banging on about as a MM trade mark).
Last season and at Watford MM had little choice. As Sparkey stated elsewhere why he started 10 of Saturdays side and left the quality of Noone and Kim on the bench is very debatable after a flat performance like we produced.
Zola meanwhile has rotated all season and I see no reason why Watford shouldn't be in great shape with the size of squad and the way he's used them.

I did say a few weeks back (when we were 11 clear) I'd take 2nd straight away if offered, I still think we'll win the league though.
