The lad could've been killed! <yikes> Not nearly as dangerous as a ball to the head though, of course.

Not related to this post, but can we not call people names because they disagree with an opinion, please? Thanks in advance.

I think a lot will depend on Kagawa, as if he turns into the player he was at dortmund, then I can see Utd accepting an offer for rooney, I don't believe he's in decline as such, as more he needs a move to regain formI

Our fans have been saying Defoe was finished 3 years ago and he was having his best season with us (overall in terms of performance) until injuries came about, so strikers can still change their game as they get older, but they need a manager that believes in their game and Fergie seems to have lost some trust in Rooney.

The other long-standing rumour is that Utd want to sign Lewandowski.
Moving Rooney on to make space for him might make sense if that's true.

Where does that leave Hernandez, he is another superb finisher, can't believe hes going to spend his career as a supersub, when if he was first choice, could easily score 20 plus goals a season.

It be interesting to see if RVP can keep up his form, as hernandez should be getting more games.

As for Wellbeck, hes a good quality player, has some neat skill with the ball and is ideal as a rotation striker so can you really see him leaving Utd just so he can 1st choice at a club like sunderland?

Just seen that on SSN about Welbecks goals, or lack of as the case is, only 2!, on paper he offers the lowest contribution assists/goals so why does he get so many starts?...wanna swap with Adebayor!

That's what my mate calls him when I say Hernandez is too good to be Man Utd's forth striker and should come to Spurs.

Nope. Rooney's wages make him an impossible signing for virtually anyone, bar City, Chelsea, PSG and some of the Russian sides.

Newcastle: Elliot, Simpson, Yanga-Mbiwa, Perch, Haidara, Cabaye, Anita, Ben Arfa, Marveaux, Obertan, Sissoko. Subs: Alnwick, Santon, Bigirimana, Tiote, Steven Taylor, Ameobi, Campbell.

Why are they fielding a weakened side? Going a bit Spanish (or Scottish) by starting without a striker, too.
