How did we ever manage in the time before "QPR entertainment" was available on't 'net?

If I can cast my mind back that far it was: Shoot magazine, Match Weekly, Football Weekly News, Football Focus, MotD, The Big Match, Saint & Greavsie, Sportsnight, the sports slots at the end of the news bulletins and the back pages of the daily press. Oh, and from simply talking and listening (using these things called a mouth and a pair of ears) to other footie mad chums. It was all timely enough in them thar days, eh?

Whenever Smiffy told me some soccer titbit, I used to hot-tail it over to Strangely Brown on my Raleigh Chopper and tell him that Smiffy had a hot piece of footie news.

"What is it?" Strangely Brown would ask me eagerly.

"I'm not allowed to say", I would reply,"but here's his telephone number and his home address. Best ask him yourself. I think he'd be a bit upset if I simply told you. But he'd get a real kick if half of Bash Street were to tap on his door for the news".

"Isn't it enough that you've given him a namecheck?" Brown would quiz.

"No", I would sigh,"you've got to go and give him a rub personally."

Outstanding Original Comedy ... I still remember having to wait until Tuesday in Southern France for the UK papers to come so i could find out if QPR had won or lose ... Now its on the internet in seconds ... that was only 8 years ago what people are missing is that things aren't or won't be like they used to be. Look how many writers/posters/creative characters we have on here.
I personally think that some of the QPR writers are complete ****ing dinosaurs who are spouting over composed **** that has already happened or will be nothing more than simple guess work that maybe right it maybe wrong.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's a protest vote in there against the biased wording of the poll. When people are being asked to vote for something, ofttimes they'll rebel if they feel one side is being elevated to the detriment of the other. These things often backfire North. You might have had a better outcome if you were more impartial when constructing this poll.

You probably didn't mean it though to be fair. You'll know for the next time.

It's a long time since I've read Viz, but Swords is definitely Biffa Bacon (looks hard but gets beaten up a lot) and you my friend bear an occasional resemblance to Roger Irrelevant. Wibble.

I rebelled exactly for that reason and of course that I believe you should be able to take it or leave it. If you broadcast anything in life be prepared to attract different opinions and also if you like it then copy it and make it your own ... absorb it ... It's yours now you had to find it and read it and it may have had an influence on your own thoughts take that with you. The internet was meant to be a free gift to the world. If you put yourself on it and use it be prepared to face the music. Think that not to give a credit is unfair? Wake up think about cloned websites and the fake products produced.

If you want to fight it then like my friends who work at Burberry ... it will cost you to get your brand back.

If you want to become an artist in pictures and words then forget the conditions only then you will become true .. Example Banksy
