LOL Quick Nige sign him he looks useful ... CV .....Mafia Boss ..... nice one White Rose :emoticon-0100-smile

I think the Daily Fail gets their stories from here!!

We should start another rumor!!

Actually, I think this is the best one out of the target men we have been linked with.

11 in 45 games at Burnley isn't that bad considering he is a target man who'll play alongside a proper goalscorer.

No point having a team full of kids, we need a few older heads in amongst them, Harper doesn't fit the bill with some so they will have to sign a couple of oldies for balance.

Think Iwelumo will be remembered for that miss against Norway at Hampden Park.

As long as he doesn't do this for us, i'm sure he'll be a good buy.

That and McLean up front sounds good. ;)

I wouldn't put it past them, on the old OWS boards I used to make rumours up just to see how long it would take for them to appear in the HDM. Leon Constantine during our D3 promotion season was probably the most amusing, they gave it the whole of the back page and gave it all the "sources close to the club" business before saying the club had confirmed having Southend games watched (they asked a week before we played Southend so it was a dumb question, and we were really scouting Leon Cort as well).

he has been injured all last season hasnt he?

id be pleased..we need somebody with the charachteristics of him or a howard..i dont understand some of the negativity...
are the people who dont want thse types of players, the same who love the "work rate" of mclean and ***an..because look how far they get you..
i was there at colchester the night he scored 4, and he was a nightmare to play against...a welcome addition in my book..if it happened.

In fairness, however bad we were the fact they were allowed to catch the ball and then play on did help them that night. That and our defence lined up Ricketts at right back, Coles at right centre back, Turner at left centre back, and Delaney at left back meaning we had a no hoper at left back, a no hoper at right centre back and our best centre back playing on the wrong side. As we had to play a centreback at fullback we should have kept the best two in the middle by lifting Ricketts from right back, sliding the others across and putting him back down at left back. In fact, just looked it up and I don't even know why we'd do that, drop Coles and put Dawson (unused sub) in the team and play everybody in position. (god Parkinson's team selections still annoying me now isn't a good sign)
