Where has all the creativity gone ?
At the start of the season ( pre Cody ) we were creating chances. Now for too long - especially at home, we have struggled to make a few half chances and the goals have seriously dried up..... However...
It looks like our promotion rivals are doing there damned best to ensure that Gills go up this season - but, as I eluded to in a previous thread, we will get relegated before Easter 2014 if we play as we have done for too many games this year - because L1 sides will not be so charitable.
Unless we create goal scoring opportunities we wont score = games lost or drawn ( 46 points is not enough to avoid relegation )
The midfield must be a priority for next season. ( a decent goal striker would be quite useful - Cody )

A completely new midfield and strike-force for next season! Well.... 2 good strikers (as per Iffy and Ade) and 2 amazing midfield (as per Hess and Smith)

PS Cody brought on 89 mins for Coventry - how nice. They still lost due to an assist by Ruke Looney at the Swine.

I think Robinson permanently would be a good signing however I think someone else is still needed centrally in midfield for next season and one or two strikers.

WE still have the chance to sign Lampard, I'm sure Allen is working behind the scenes.:biggrin:

if wright goes down, anyone know if he becomes a free agent? without wishing to get hung up on a player that may have shunned us i just think his cool calm experienced head in league 1 would do us some good

I don't know why but I thought he had signed a two year deal. Probably totally wrong. To be honest I would not care if I never saw the player again, he made his choice.

to refrase my point then a wright esk player! someone you can rely on not to give the ball away and to win it back for you in the midfield!

Fair enough. To add to the discussion I saw this tweet today from a Posh fan:

“@sam___sparrow: jack payne best centre mid i have seen in a long time great signing and player #pufc”

    ps. how's this for praise:

    Darragh MacAnthony ‏@DMAC102
Special mention to Swanson/NML/Payne for phenomenal performance. They were like 3 new signings! Now kick on lads!!
