Green was just what the doctor ordered. He's got a far more impressive goal kick on him!
We get way too nervy during the final 10 to pass the ball out of defence, so those massive punts up field really eased the pressure on the defence.
It even looked to add an extra attacking element to our play, it's nice to be able to attack straight from goal kicks. When Zamora's back perhaps him and Green could forge a useful partnership...

Heard Rob Green saved us 2 points with a wonder save with 10 mins to go. May have been an inspired substitution by HR with Ceasar struggling near the end.

If Ceasar had stayed on with a dead leg, we wouldn't have won. Rob Green fabulous, coming on from cold. This win should do wonders for team morale

Rob Green saved our bacon, and 3 pts, today with multiple excellent saves - we owe him a huge gratitude. Shades of our WBA away FA Cup win.

Sounds like Green had a good one today (I'm out the country) but better than Cesar? Behave.

Cesar has made one mistake all season, Green has made loads more despite playing half the games.

Yes green was good when he came on but Cesar has been better.

Alright it's probably an exaggeration, but he's definitely better in some circumstances! Green is far more suited to aiding close games out when he can just leisurely hoof the ball into the stratosphere. Wastes extra time and completely bypasses our nervy back 4

I'd still start cesar against Sunderland but only if he's 100% fit otherwise green should come in.

    Uhhh what!

Green makes one save and he's QPR's new saviour?

We would have already been relegated without Cesar and Green is not the better keeper.

Not sure if you were watching the game, but in the brief time he was on, Green made a series of excellent saves that definitely kept us in this game for 3 pts.

That's why you have a squad of players, to cover off injuries, allow rotation due to lack of confidence, poor performances etc. - we're just lucky to have two top class international goalkeepers in our stable.

Cesar was probably culpable for their goal! He's definitely a better shot stopper, but does that frustrating thing where he parries it out back into danger. With green's superior kicking he could practically be used as an attacking substitute for when we'd like to go more direct

I take my hat off to Rob Green. I have been very critical of him in the past, but today he came on and showed confidence. He really helped the defenders with his presence. It was certainly not just the brilliant save from the corner, he was in complete control.

Greens always been able to make excellent saves, he also been able to lose a game on his own. Thats the problem.

Totally correct, I'll second that - he certainly had the Rub of the Green for us today when he came on late to ensure that we collected those 3 pts.

Wish we had two strikers like we've got keepers. Cesar has been immense but he was at fault for the equaliser. Should have pushed it wider away from danger. But greens save was pivotal. It's clear we've got two top keepers. Wish we could say the same about our attack
