EDIT: Didn't think I'd have to spell this out but of bloody course, this is assuming we don't sign anyone... Doh?! It's just a bit of hypothetical fun to see our future strength and where we need to focus in terms of squad development. Contrary to popular opinion, with Chalobah and Ake breaking through, and with Luiz also probably more suited to that role, we are actually well covered in defensive mid. Signing a Fellaini would be an unwise move in this regards. Its strikers and defenders we are short of in the long run.

Cahill not really good enough, also Bertrand. Shows we lack depth in defence - need to make some signings here.

Also, too light upfront.

No need to make any more signings in midfield for another 10 years!
 
Waste of time - team'll look nothing like that.

Lukaku - doing ok in a lesser team. Let's see how he goes with us. Forwards in top teams get marked very differently. Look what's happening to DBB right now.
 
This assumes we wont be adding anyone to our squad over the next 5 years! I really cant see that happening, although your selection in the right managerial hands could be useful!

Kakuta lol. Wtf happened to him??! Somehow, don't think he'll come good and he goes into my 'long gone' category.

Cech can be the 25th then ;)

I actually forgot we'd signed Wallace and Kakuta has been doing well at Vitesse this season although i still don't think he'll make it with us.

Cech will not be around in 5 years. He has a degenerative bone condition in his elbows - could even force his retirement this season.

Got it from his old man. Actually, I find it easy to criticise RA, but feel guilty doing so, he has really put us on the map. What an absolute crying shame he won't take advice, get rid of the ****ers around him ,and bring in someone like Guus Hiddinck, a proper grown up football brain.
We would be light years better off.
