Id come here because I have a few mates at work who are Stoke supporters and I've been talking to them about Pulis. I basically think he has done a good job getting you guys into the Prem and establishing you as a side that is hard to beat, esp at home, and will have a long stay in the league.
The issue I have is that I can't see him taking you any further forward. He has spent a few quid now and you should, imo, be knocking on the door of the top half of the table. I was looking round to see what you guys thought. I suppose the worry is that if someone new did come in, they may try to change the style of play and have a return of the squad which could take you backwards.
I was also curious to see what you thought of Adam. I thought he would do a great job for Stoke, he's a grafter, good eye for a pass and is great with set pieces, and I can't understand why he is losing out to Whelan.

We have the player's they are just not used correctly IMO. Whelan vs Adam is a no contest as far as I'm concerned. Adam every time but.... clueliss is our Manager not me.

Id agree with that. To me it seems that th system Pulis uses relies on having two pacey wingers to do the damage, before pennant fell out of favour and ethers legs went it seemed to be going places.
You guys obviously watch Stoke more than me, but your man Pulis does seem to have you stuck in a cul de sac and has no plan b.
