Fair enough, we lost past two seasons up there though I would feel confident of beating Bournemouth twice.
i'd like bournemouth to win because a mate of mine supports them. I want us to beat em next season just so i can gloat some more
Penalties in this game, an absolutley shocking penalty decision in the Posh v MK match, thank god we avoided this torture.
Unlucky Cherries ...Gutted for you lads... However you should be proud, you have had a great season!! PENALTIES IS ALWAYS **** WAY OF GOING OUT!! I am more of a fan of the old skool "GOLDEN GOAL" rule myself!
Very, very unlucky Bmouth. We know what they are feeling all too well. Weirdly, both of our play-offs defeats ended 4-4. We both would have progressed to the final if the away-goal rule stood. We both missed two penalties in our shoot-outs.
Ryan Dickson makes an interesting point on Twitter by the way. Kilbane, Naysmith and Pearce should have all been sent off in this match. Only one of them was - and he was the only one of the three who wasn't an ex-Prem player.
First post on a SAINTS forum so go easy, half pissed after tonights entertainment. Started this game wanting the Udders to win and ended up banging my head on the light fitting when Ballmouth went in front. Great game to watch as a neutral, to be honest the most deserving team won ( Don`t like the play offs), but the way the Ballmouth lads fought for the shirt I feel gutted for them. Any Cherries fans get to read this good luck for next season.
I'm glad cherries lost - keeps my ã200 quid in the play off accumulator - Reading / Hudders / Torquay... so far so good
Trouble is their chairman will have to sell a couple in the close season just to balance the books. They cannot afford to go into administration again, as they will be kicked out of the league. They just don't have the right defence, their centre back went to sleep. Their left back is quite useful though.
No, on the old 606 they did nothing but brag when they were in a higher position. Since March none have been heard of. 'Udders fully deserve to go up!
