Was it Nimmo Smith who gave Walter Smith his dignity, they seem to be from the
one sow's litter to me. Nobody can say today's fiasco was a surprise. Maybe just
A little that Oldco were found guilty of so much. I am sure Derrick Nimmo was
Been very careful and exact when he said all the Rangers players that had only
Part of their registration lodged with the SPL didn't mean Rangers got any
advantage. I am inclined to agree with Nimmo on that point. However it takes
someone with a close understanding of Rangers and Scottish football to appreciate
that. Step forward ex Ranger Co. Sec and currently Rangers protector and boss of
SFA, Cambell Og, he explained to Nimmo that it was inconceivable that Rangers
would seek to gain an advantage by incomplete registration , as they had the
referees and their assistants giving them every advantage they needed.
Nimmo, sought advice from the dignity part of the family who backed up
Cambell Og and said David Murray never put a foot wrong. Lord Nimmo
Decided the succulent lamb was the best he ever tasted and fined Oldco,
Knowing full well it will never be paid.
A mastery demonstration how football and life behaves in Scotland.

There is very little incentive in running football
In Scotland. An under 14 team banned for season for having
One player incorrectly registered and rangers have scores
Illegally and no problem.

You're right, it is all there is to it.

If there was no wrong doing, there'd be no fine....right?

Like I said earlier, it'll be interesting to see the repercussions, if any, when the appeals are heard/ruled on.

Only a ***** would see any of this as a victory. It's a failure, a complete and utter failure by the SPL/SFL seemingly making it 'ok' to cheat.

Paid the ultimate price though and it shouldn't be forgotten by anyone.

:)

Sigh. They didn't disclose the side letters. Rule broken. Fined for it. The players were still eligible to play. Titles won fair and square. Sorry.

Ye'd think the rangers were out of administration/looming liquidation and promoted to the SPL the way some fans are carrying on.

They're not.

They're still dead and have been found guilty of cheating and fined.

It's kinda like having icing on your cake but being without the sparkly candles - it still tastes delicious

It's mental

You're only eligible if you are registered

You are registered because you hid your ineligibility

If you are registered you cannot be ineligible

Like I said, cheated. And if you did indeed read the link I posted and read it without your blue specks on, you'd see it's on a technicality(the SPL/SFL **** up) that ruled the eligibility not to be a problem.

If you see that as a victory of any kind, well, <laugh>

That's about the size of it. Shows them up for the sham they are, again.

Like it's a surprise to anyone <laugh>

Am having fun with it, yes. As would you had the commission ruled to strip titles. Calm doon, dear. <beelicious>

No really, it's an irrelevance Gambol. How can you punish a team that's no longer on the go? The team in div 3 is a tribute act.

That's how senseless the findings are, even if the title stripping was granted, there's nothing other than bragging rights for either oldco or any opposition fans. At the end of the day, it doesn't change anything. It reinforces how ****ed up and inadequate the footballing authorities are in our wee country, that's all.

rebel cant comment :(

"Rangers FC did not gain any unfair competitive advantage from the contraventions of the SPL Rules"

Not even you believe that, nev.

The whole thing's a disaster for Scottish football.

Don't apologise, I don't hold your stubbornness to see the bigger picture against you <hug>

Neither do I hold your desperate need for Rangers to have cheated against you.

"Rangers FC did not gain any unfair competitive advantage from the contraventions of the SPL Rules"

We did get fined though <grr>
