first for everything but think of it like this, if they beat Spuds we'll be laughing at Spuds, if they lose to Spuds we can hate them even more.
Holy Christ that man is talent. Bale saves Spurs - really need to get Hazard playing like that, continual directness, sadly hard with Rafa at the helm. Anyway, we're punished by the better team at the moment. The game at the Bridge is a huge game.
"We are witnessing something special at the moment, we really are." Not my words, gentlemen, but those of a professional pundit (on the BBC commentary team).
They did deserve it but I'm so deflated right now. You see the team spirit they have. All rallying around the gaffer. Passion and determination. Fighting until the end. Tehy'll get a top 4 spot. It's us or Arsenal for that last place. What is the best result in the North London Derby next week? An Arsenal win?
"There were 18 months or so when you fully expected Cristiano Ronaldo to score from 30 yards every single time he took a shot in a Manchester United shirt. Gareth Bale is in that kind of touch right now." That's not me likening Bale to Ronaldo, gents, but a professional pundit (off the BBC).
"So Gareth Bale has now scored Spurs' last five goals in the Premier League. He's not quite in Lionel Messi territory yet, but he's getting there..." Those are not my words, but those of an awe-struck BBC commentary team. Messi, Ronaldo, and Bale. I rest my case.
It's very frustrating... After the actions of the club, we are getting what we deserve and it is us fans that have to suffer. I wonder what Roman, the players and Rafa is thinking? One thing is for sure... a loss at Boro or against West Brom and the fat karnt is out of here.
Hi, Ozzie! Long time, no speak! I love the way you hurl casual verbal abuse at me. No one would guess that we're great mates. To answer your question, I've been going to watch Spurs play since I was a nipper, growing up with the likes of Pat Jennings, Martin Chivers, Alan Gilzean, Mike England, Martin Peters, etc, and as a younger man I held a season ticket for several seasons. These days, my works and extra-vocational activities tend to occupy most of my time at the weekends, so it's been difficult to find the time. I envy the lads who do have the time, because they (and you, too, Ozzie) are witnessing one of the greatest Spurs sides of all-time. Don't tell me that you're not excited!
You mean the man who was sacked by the same mad dog who sacked the likes of Ancelotti, Mourhino, and RDM? I doubt that there is a fan on this Earth who would not, in the depths of his heart, prefer AVB to the clown that is now in charge of CFC. Also, Zingy, I really wouldn't shout too loudly, my friend, what with the bloke you've got in charge. Do you Mousers still believe he's the best manager of 'Pool since Bob?
