Ah, didn't realise it was an old thread which is why I was surprised when I couldn't see the OP after merging it. That's some fine detective work there SD
Spurs England v Germany penalty shootout:
Naughton and Walker's first were crackers, then it predictably all went downhill. Trust us to have the only 2 Germans that can't take penalties at the club.
As a welshman I'm very glad Swansea have done their job here. A Cup victory and European football next year completes a remarkable turnaround for the club.
Times a Welsh club has won the English League Cup: 1 Times an English club has won the Welsh Cup: 21 Something that should be pointed out to every Welsh nationalist (after pointing out their first language is English, of course...)
Also, Times a Welsh club has won the English League Title: 0. Times an English club has won the Welsh League Title: 6 with the 7th looking very likely this season. TNS play at Park Hall in Oswestry, Shropshire.
Sounds like we've signed up for a really tough friendly in the summer. We'll face Jamaica in their new Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium on Nassau Paradise Island. Might be a chance for our owner to actually see us play!
We won with homer Webb in charge last night, to say Clattenburg owes us a decent game is an understatement.
That's probably the best game i've seen Webb ref for us, and he was still dubious at times. The penalty angered me at the time but having seen various views now I can understand it. Dembele could have received a second yellow a couple of times but Webb was lenient thankfully. In general though I thought the 50/50 decisions went West Ham's way far more than they went ours.
Yep. No idea why West Brom let him go, especially as Lukaku will probably go back to Chelsea in the summer and Odemwingie looks like he's on the way out. Millwall's poor recent form is down to their failure to push a deal for him through before Leicester jumped in. Painful for them to see two ex-loanees on the same scoresheet. Happy for Kane, though. Hopefully he'll push on, again.
