I wanted to get a couple of selections up early as I suspect one may shorten in the morning. It is a little speculative and it could not be the day at all, if it is however it will go off shorter than the good value price available at present. Wolverhampton 5.30 Rockgoat 12-1 This horse races off of 57 tomorrow but won at Lingfield in August from a mark of 68. I feel today he has his trip, a good mark and a job jockey booked, so I have taken the 12's best odds tonight. With regard the Jockey booking there is a horse called Tatta running in the race, this horse did me a real favour back in November and was backed heavily that day in the morning, if you view the race Graham Lee who rode him clearly knew the money was down, interestingly the horse has already attracted support once again but Lee is not riding. I would not put anyone off of a bet on Tatta but I would suggest Rockgoat is by far the better value tomorrow. Kempton 2.50 Bridge that Gap 4-1 I put this up as a very confident selection a few weeks back and still feel the horse is on a winning mark. He was a superb bet last time out as he came from a race with rock solid form and whilst I cannot be quite so confident tomorrow I still think he will be worth a bet. Good luck all
Just wanted to wish everyone a good week - I'm jetting off to snowy Wichita tomorrow on a business trip so won't be posting much. Back home on Friday. Get those winners banged in
A horse that Im sure was hoghlighted on here previously and has been UNLUCKY last 2-3 times and is "on a winning mark" Prince of Burma 420 Kempton e/w bet to nothing or literally bet your money and return nothing? Is it an unlucky loser or just a loser? 6/1 2nd fav tomorrow! Thoughts Gentlemen please?
Gaz - I feel Prince of Burma has better horses around him tomorrow than his last couple of runs and although arguable he was unlucky in his last race, the time before that he had time to pick up but did not. In my opinion if anything can beat the favourite it will be Stir Trader.
Have a good time, I will make sure we leave some winners for you to find next week. Also thanks, telling me you are going to Wichita has made me start humming White Stripes songs.
15:10 Plumpton - Just Beware (Got a dreaded 'PU' yesterday as something went wrong with the mare early on and jockey dismounted; hope she is OK. Selection has flea-weight and has a bit of a chance in this heat, but just a small 'interest' bet, as I can hardly call Plumpers a lucky track, although Barry Davies did give me a 16-1 winner when I was there once, Hot Hand, even remember the name. Afterwhich, the damn thing only used to win at 33-1, two or three times I think, and I was abroad!) GL to anyone having a wager today!
Anyone know if there was a fatality in the first at Chepstow Saturday? I read about the one later in the card, but also horse collapsed after first and feared the worst.
Thanks for pointing that out Ardent LOL my bank account can back that up. Looking to peak for Cheltenham ;-)
Only one for me today has a light weight and loves the course Plumpton 3 40 Quartz Du Montceau Be lucky
Smokin....I had a close look at this...I just can't make a strong enough case...not without a chance though if 'The Acosta Partnership' have planned a coup..
Dexter, you're lucky. My missus is doing leeks with something for lunch. I told her I'm not Welsh, but no matter the menu stays leeks and something................
