I admit I'm slightly afraid of posting on their board, for a fear of misconstrusion, however; well done Swansea!

A great, solid win, (yes against lower league opponents) but think about what this means for Welsh football! A Welsh team representing the English leagues in Europe next year! Brilliant. Swansea over England anyday ;).

Cardiff are flying high, 8 points clear with a game in hand; and who is one of the most valuable players in the world? Mr Bale, step up son!

Yes, as a country we will probably never win a thing, but I'm pretty damn happy with the situation at the moment.

However, if (if) we get promoted, everything will go back to normal- and I look forward to smashing the JackB@stards, until then... Congrats! Enjoy tonight, it's been a tough ride =]

Agree 100%. They did what they had to do and did it well. <ok>

Pity about Chico's outburst on another thread though.

Let's not forget newport who are high in the conference, and wrexham who are top of the league and in the FA trophy final.

Correct me if i'm wrong but, isn't the FA trophy now the only english title (leagues titles apart) that hasn't emigrated to wales for a year?

FA cup and charity shield: Cardiff

League cup and LDV vans (as it used to be called): Swansea

    FA trophy: Wrexham???

Fair play they took out Liverpool and Chelsea to be there so no arguments with the L2 final. Pity for the finals sake there couldn't have been an actual football match but Arsenal might finally learn a lesson that the kids and reserves are barely L2 standard. Bradford were fantastic until the final but that big wembley pitch and the HUGE gulf in class between the sides really did make it a non event from the second Dyer scored.
How on earth did Villa let that lot beat them over 2 legs? I know Swansea are a much better side but they also showed how ashamed Villa should be that they couldnt make the PL quality show over 2 legs.

Well done Swansea, top half PL, Europa league qualified and major silver wear. Probably about as much as any club outside the big 6 or 7 can hope for!
Let's hope they are away to Anzhi before our first derby next season.......;)

This thread was going so well and then, right on cue, the village idiot appears! Happy to be a soppy Welsh twat; love Swansea, love Cardiff, love Wales, have absolutely no feelings about Hull - is that even a place?!! Do you play football there; if so why haven't I heard of you? So bless your little cotton socks for a poor attempt at a WUM, but jog along and leave the serious discussions to the grown ups! <cheers>

Yes have to admit the Hull idiot did put a smile on my face also. But well done Swansea, as of next year i think the peanut flickers will have to take a back seat once and for all. Happy with that.

The Hull idiot should go home. His whole village are looking for him.

By the way sunshine, enjoy your trip to Huddersfield. But then again you are such a plank you probably won't be allowed a ticket or a seat on the bubble bus.
