Rotter I for one am getting shot down by (some fans) on here because I want Clueliss OUT! Yet again today proved to me that his time is up. Me, thee and any other half witted Stoke fan could pick a better starting 11. But Pulis is sucking the life and soul out of US the FANS. Mr Coates what the hell are you doing? Bring in a (Manager) who wants to ATTACK now and again.
Potts, We could all pick a better team and most of them would be very much the same barring substitutes. I t's time for Pulis to go because he's causing more problems than he's solving!!!
That's what happens when you buy thugs instead of footballers and they are managed by someone who hates the concept of watchable football.
Its hard to disagree with that statemnet at the moment mate, Huth and Nzoznzi could both have been sent and TP doesnt seem to mind! However we are not a team of thugs, just badly managed!
Yes, I have thought both Huth and NZonzi to be good players in the past. I think it must be Pulis encouraging this sort of behaviour. Both should have had reds yesterday - ref bottled out.
We have unfairly been tarnished with this "thug" image and when you look at our record we have never been top of the foul play leagues. However, we have a got away with a few lately, Whelan a couple of weeks ago, Nzozni a couple of games back and then yesterday. I dont think TP can moan about not getting a bit of luck when there have been games in which arguably we could have been down to 10 men. I do get pissed when we get called thugs in general but we are riding our luck as off late!
Reading the Sentinel and choking on my breakfast......!!!!!! Full back page on Nzonzi, his reactions and how unfairly we are treated - we wonder why fans external to the clubs think we are thugs and that the management cultivate it?
This seems to confirm that it's a cultural thing within the club - that Pulis wants them to believe that punches and forearms are "all part of the game". He did well winning promotion and stabilising, but you guys are right, he needs to go for the sake of your club and its fans.
It infuriates me - we have been lucky to have XI on the pitch for the last few games. On another note I though Big Sam did an excellent interview after the game last night, TP would have been whinging about everything.
Bad behaviour by our players. It was bound to happen when they are instructed by toe knee head-but Clulis.
I see Huth is on a violent conduct charge. The only thing I would say is that if he now gets a ban it would be inconsistnet with Nzozni getting a yellow.
Yes, in a sensible world, both events should be reviewed (and in my opinion both banned for 3 games). I'd be even more cheesed off if Walters had scored the penalty and we had not won because these two stayed on, it's old news now I guess. Do you think Pulis will eventually get the push as a result of supporter pressure? who would you like instead? has he tarnished the reputation for a good replacement? Good luck on getting rid, then good luck to your team. Btw I saw Stan Matthews last game at the Vic - (against us) - I was only a bairn......honest
Hi Tosh, We have reminisced before about the good old days, and they WERE good old days. For what its worth, Pulis ' and his 'strong arm tactics' are a disgrace to our club. I agree with you. And yes, big Sam showed more grace last night in defeat, than Pulis has ever done in his life.
