Dead man walking? http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...city-on-tour-before-being-sacked-8505895.html Not the best environment to do your work in! unless City back him it could be a limp end to their season. We'll see how quick they are to rubbish these claims...or not!
Nabbed this off the Norwich board http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21534620 Could've easily been one of our fans in the Lyon games... or United. I think the last time I left early was when I missed Bent getting a late consolation for us against Villa, we heard the cheers and ran into a pub to find out what happened. These days if we win I always like to stay and applaud the team but mostly I just don't find it that difficult to get home after a game, it's only Seven Sisters that is a pain and I don't go that way anymore.
I've never understood why people leave early when the result has only a goal in it. If you're that worried about getting home...don't come out of it in the first place! if you went to see a comedian or show at a theatre, or a film perhaps...do you leave 5mins before the end??
I would leave my seat 5 mins before the end and stand by the exit until the whistle went...then gone!
Watching the match it seemed to me Lyon had a 4 man line for 90 minutes and, sometimes, another line of 4 in front of them........and they were playing at home! But it nearly worked for them.Serves them right that it didn't!!
What a siily girls blouse! Always check the scores when you get home.....before you perform Harry Carey!
Trying to work out whether N'Zonzi's nose is broken or it always looked like that. Didn't look like Berbatov made much contact but it looks very swollen and crooked now. Good game so far though. It's not often I've seen Stoke go into an away game trying to attack.
Moment of madness from N'Zonzi there. Should've gone really, players get sent off for far less contact.
You just knew Berba would score that, fantastic volley with about 10 seconds left of the half. That Riether Fulham have always impresses me when I see him, his deliveries today have been very good. 1-0 so far.
I think he's on loan so might be worth a cheeky bid in the summer. Not sure he'd want to sit on our bench though.
Never thought I would ever be supporting Villa in a game, but them and Norwich could do us huge favours this afternoon!! Wondering which version of the Goons will turn out this afternoon. If they struggle for a goal early on and things don't click then the Wenger-out brigade in the crowd will start getting restless for sure.
Having seen the line-ups for the Goons' game, I fully expect Villa to get battered out of sight, unfortunately.
