wtf is Brad playing, we have a world class 26year old keeper with European exp as well as exp in this stadium with this team.
So we play Brad the average gk who isnt very good as a sweeper keeper in the only comp we have a chance of winning.
This is exactly the kind of game we could have used Rafa in, i've seen nothing to suggest Dempsey was a better option. Comes in, gets the ball, passes back to the same guy, runs away. great

I really hope we get champs league next year so AVB can flesh out this mediocre squad.
Bale & Lennon desperatly need a sub look at utd, they have 4 wingers.
Defoe and Ade have always been patchy so need another top striker
Dembele can't be our only creative deep midfielder
Walker plays every single game and has been off the pace
Brad is not up to it anymore

Dempsey is not a solution, especially for dembele. Any creativity we have, will be gone. - apart from relying on bale again. I'd rather we have an average dembele tonight than Dempsey in that position. We need dembeles pace and engine, if nothing else.

Dembele hasn't displayed either pace or engine and certainly not skill. He is roaming and not influencing - except to give the ball away. Frustrating for such a decent player
The few times we've got the ball forward the ref or lino has screwed us over. We've been poor though and need to show a lot more urgency and quality going forward.
Like i said,Brad should not have been in goal tonight,and we should have signed a striker in the jan window,it's coming to haunt us now

Perhaps not, but Dempsey will be even worse. It's not his preferred position and he's been mediocre at best in his better positions.
Another poor first half and another dubious performance from a ref when Platini's in attendance.
The disparity between what was given as a foul between the two teams was pretty clear.
Both of our central midfield pairing have given the ball away a lot and we've not threatened their goal anywhere like enough.
They're sitting on their lead and making it hard for us and we've struggled badly against that so often in recent years.
The decision to leave out Dawson and Lloris is looking like a very questionable one right now.
